Damage resistant: The control armor is highly resistant to blasters, lightsabers, kinetic attacks, and fire. It also has an average resistance to many other forms of attacks.
Hard to detect: Trying to sense the armor through the force or sensors is difficult unless by a very skilled individual.
Able to hide: Due to the nanotech, the armor is able to move change shape, enabling it to hide as an ultra dense choker around Layla's neck when not in use.
A second: It takes only a second for the armor to go from the choker to covering her entire body.
Connected and controlled: The armor is telepathically linked to Layla, as well as physically linked through grafted pieces of it that connect directly into her spinal cord. Other pieces of it pierce through her neck further, connecting to other nerves. However, this allows her to control it well. And due to the fields it generates, and the telepathic connection to them, this allows the suit to control the other items in her arsenal.
Weaknesses:
Extreme Cold: Cold makes the suits biological components much harder to use, making it take much longer for the suit to deploy as well as making it much more brittle.
Sonic attacks: Sonic weaponry causes issues in maintaining the desired forms, injuring the suit.
Nervous system link: What ever hurts the suit causes the same pain to Layla as if it happened to her own flesh.
Heavy: When around just her neck in choker form a lot of weight is compressed there, this makes the suit fairly uncomfortable when not on fully.
Can't breath: The suit is incomplete. It was not designed to be used alone, as such, once on fully it only has enough oxygen for 20 minutes before it much retract to regather air for the host.
DESCRIPTION
The suit takes two forms, one when its active and one when its passive. When passive, it resembles a black decorative choker around the girl's neck. When active the dense nanech and material particles spread across every inch of the body, covering even the face. It is connected to its host telepathically and directly to the spinal cord of the host. A surgical grafting of the material into the hosts nervous system is needed.
The material protects the host at all costs, as well as acts as a direct control mechanism for all the other tools in Layla's arsenal. It is hidden from the world, disguised as a dense choker around her neck, fooling sensors and the force from its existence, until it's too late. In a split second it activates covering the girl's body in a thin nanech-type 2 film, millions of cillia puncturing into her body to further connect it to the commands her mind gives the material and her body. A mere moment later the rest of the weapons and armor gather around it.
