She emerged from the darkness, with daylight waiting on the other side. The humid air was enough, but she phased through it pretty quickly as her path led her towards the center of the courtyard.

"Alright." she said just as it sizzled out towards the end, her path remained the same with the grass under her boots becoming completely silent as she transitioned to stone. Her last step put her at the top of the post just towards the back of the open yard itself.

A well timed pivot allowed her to turn and face both of her Padawan; her boys, as she sometimes referred to them.

She dug her hand into her hip, shifting her weight to one side as she casually swayed to her right a bit. She lurched forward just a bit, making room for her hair to fall as it would over her shoulders and across her chest. "Welcome to the Training Course." She smirked while motioning with her free hand.

"It still has to undergo a few changes but it's fully operational." She mused. Of course while she intended to train her apprentices, this was an open session that she'd welcome anyone to. Whether they wanted to learn some saber basics which she had on the plan for her boys or if they had inquiring minds about anything else. Hell the course was open, so even if they wanted to venture off on their own, she'd encourage it.

"We talked briefly about controlling conflict..." she referred back to their first group session, where she challenged them to an unarmed duel. "Making it so that things are on your terms. There's a certain technique I wanted to go over which could be beneficial to your very different approaches to combat." Ironically, [member="Quvox"] had already discovered this technique on Coruscant; he probably didn't know it was an actual technique.

"But first...I'm sure you both noticed your sabers were missing." She playfully smirked. "That's because I hid them somewhere in the course."

It was test.

"We also talked about how constant adversity is. If your good enough to retrieve your lightsabers, then you have every right to use them. After that...I'll teach you." She casually place both hands on her hips and tilted her head in a challenge.

She motioned with her head, "Go for it..."

Of course she was free to help any others who'd come along looking for instruction. This was an open day to explore the facets of Jedi training.

She wondered if [member="Zylah Dvale"] would make it or not. The two needed to catch up.

Of all things she would think to stumble upon, a training course wasn’t really it. At least not for the day. The Praxeum was coming together and a big part of Vera had to marvel at seeing it all take shape. She usually just walked around instead of doing some of her reading because of reasons that she wouldn’t exactly open up about just yet. As much as the Praxeum was the new home it was still all very new. She knew a precious few members at this point, but the number kept growing for each day.

One person she did know was Romi. They had met before and Vera held the memory close as a good reminder of what she was doing here. By the looks of it she was the one utilizing the training course for the moment and Vera couldn’t quite help but approach them. Her ever present smile beamed through the courtyard at her approach and she reached behind her towards her lower back to unclip her own saber. She held it thoughtfully before her for a moment before she held it out towards Romi with a simple question.

“Could you hide mine too?” She asked and held the hilt in her open hand. “It sounds like a fun exercise.”

It did! It was tracking stuff, notably your own lightsaber, and then swinging it at something to learn. Practical experiences was something Vera was all about. It beat reading by a long shot, and this was as good of an excuse to explain to Alden why she hadn’t read those pages just yet.

“Please?”

Dressed in a sleeveless dark brown tunic wearing beige trousers with shiny black boots some Sephi trinket connected to a chrome chain hanging around her neck Anarielle keeps her elbows atop the finely cut sandstone railing observing with eyes the actors who stood atop the courtyard's surface. Anarielle had lent a level of aid in designing the architecture and continued to assist the local constructions teams in assembly and quality control of the stone they'd been using for the Praxeum, it was still in her view the best hope the Order she had known to have a legacy in this Galaxy and although she yet kept her own past highly secretive Anarielle did not hide a level of fondness for the Jedi Ideal indeed her material and technical support provided without demands of remittance or reward spoke to their dedication. With left-hand Anarielle shifts the leather belt wrapped tightly around hips slightly, the heat was stifling for the Sephi woman who had become accustomed during her long slumber to the cold. Holding up some fabric before lips she releases a hacking series of coughs into the floral-covered linen; the unfortunate side effects on one's immune system from being so long isolated from the galaxy's microbial evolution. Standing beside his master the rust-coloured Hunter-Killer Series Droid Number forty-nine stands, Anarielle's companion and protector in times like these where she was not at her finest. "Query: Master, shall I retrieve those stims from your ship? Your pallor is an unusual pale and the wheeze emitting with expiration indicates some nature of infection within the pulmonary system." For an Assassin Droid Ach-Kay's tilt of head to the right betrayed a certain concern for his longtime master and even 'friend' though the proud droid will never openly admit he thought so highly of a fleshling. Resilient as his Master is Ach-Kay pivots on his metal soles and begins marching towards an exit from the massive oval-shaped courtyard, whether or not she accepted the offer did not matter for the Droid truly the question had been rhetorical in nature. Anarielle turns her black circle flanked eyes in the droid's direction and merely sighs defeated, accepting Ach-Kay's concern wordlessly Anari turns her almond-shaped eyes back to the unfolding training Scenario with both ears articulating upwards slightly with eyelids narrowing closely together in an attempt to make-out what was obviously a Knight or Master and her instructions to the gathered Padawans.

The Sun shining down over her shoulders Anarielle manages to sweep up a pleasantly cool breeze up through nostrils and release it promptly afterwards with a gentle shiver sprinting down spine, sparing a Glance away from the Knight and their pupils she briefly studies the beautiful Garden. Infant plants had sprung from the soil and seemed to reach towards the heavens above them proudly. Much like this new generation of Padawans they too might grow under the beautiful cloudless sky for years to come, the thought reminded Anarielle that she still struggled to grapple with what happened; had the Jedi and her never heard the will of the Force or a warning of the upcoming danger which claimed so many lives through the Clone Wars? A profound ache descends upon Anarielle's soul the pain driving itself from some perceived personal failing that while she opposed the Order during that terribly destructive war many among its' ranks she counted as friends and despite happening centuries ago for the Sephi the time elapsed had not been sufficient to heal those wounds. Jedi trained to release all that they held dear, but were they ever perfect and capable of ignoring it completely? It was a battle every single Jedi had to fight their way through and only truly understood after the trials but in Anarielle's experience understanding her own feelings didn't result in their capitulation unto the will of their master. Anarielle's brows pull into a scowl hearing the word 'Combat' it had been disappointing to hear in her archaic view Jedi were to be peacemakers and master mediators not soldiers who charged headlong into battle or went searching for targets to engage. War saw to the perversion of the Jedi's role and code making them something they wouldn't if nothing else Anari believed that War and all its' horrors did nothing but corrupt those valiant souls who participated in it and perhaps too harshly viewed herself with such a title 'corrupted' for unlike her friends within the Order centuries ago she released any pretense of adherence to the Code when she engaged in War and permitted all those fiery passions it brings to possess her actions and now wondered in hindsight how it was that the darkness had not consumed her in mind if not body. "May they know only peace in the force, Do not mourn their loss rejoice for those who have been unified in the serene flow of life. Let us like discard our arms and pray to find the path to peace and righteousness anew together." Anarielle mutters the eulogy with a certain bitterness, recalling the scene of standing over her the white-blanketed remains of fallen comrades one that was repeated one too many times during the War and while it seemed this new universe did not seemed to strive for the thousand years of peace and prosperity brought on by that old Republic Anari had known she refused to despair and believe it was beyond redemption. The change they wished to see had to come from within.

Waiting patiently for the exercise to begin Anarielle couldn't help but become somewhat excited with anticipation of the Padawan's performance, eager to assess just how they measured up against her memory. It brought the war-weathered soldier a hint of happiness to see that some level of their honour and traditions had withstood the dark years and emerged in any form. Anarielle even entertained the thought for but a moment that perhaps she would participate in training at the Praxeum she'd helped construct one day....Perhaps after the Sephi freed herself from this shame, brought on by a survival inwardly viewed and condemned as selfish. Brooding in silence Anarielle waited for Ach-Kay to return or something else to clasp her attention.

Standing in the grass looking up to Romi, Aten raised a hand to block the sun endeavoring to blind him. Much like his master Aten sported blonde hair, though his was kept in a ponytail the sun making it appear more vibrant than it truly was. Looking over to Jace, Aten would offer a friendly smile and nod of respect. They’d both been lucky enough to be apprenticed to Romi Jade, and if anything, Aten saw Jace and Quvox as his betters in terms of their accomplishments. They’d actually participated in combat on Coruscant during its fall while Aten had been in the city evacuating civilians. While it was just it didn’t speak much to the padawans accomplishments.

Casting a quick glance around the surrounding Aten was incredibly impressed by how far the Jedi Praxeum had come, the temple was doing good and they had a functional training Yard. Aten had yet to sleep within the temple or with his contemporaries preferring to remain within his starship. That’s part of the reason when Aten had awoken and found his saber missing in action it had been a surprise. He wasn’t the type to simply leave the weapon laying around in case of emergency, and very few people had access to his vessel.

Standing before Romi as she explained their training for the day it all made sense. “You could’ve just asked and we would’ve given them to you!” Aten called out to the Knight a chuckle in his voice. He’d actually been slightly concerned, while Aten preferred hand to hand combat it was still comforting to have the familiar saber with him. Shame you left the gauntlets. Aten thought his mind wandering to the two phrik gauntlets which would make any training with sabers far easier removing the need for him to be completely accurate or risk losing an arm. Sighing Aten turned away from Romi, not out of disrespect but due to his scanning the area. Just how did she expect them to find the saber? Did she leave them somewhere visible? Aten’s own senses in the force weren’t the best and could be boiled down to knowing how to feel the presences of others in the force which any youngling could do.

“Ten creds say I find mine before
you. Aten called back to [member="Jace Khel"], a challenge that while the jedi knew he’d most likely lose would still be fun. What point was there to having fellow apprentices if you couldn’t be a bit competitive.

As he was setting out Aten passed a girl who came forward offering for Romi to hide her saber as well. “Good luck she can be incredibly cruel.” A jest thrown as Aten passed by at a jog just loud enough for Romi to hear.

"Oh bleh!" She turned her face up playfully at Aten, sticking her tongue out at the apprentice. Yeah she could've but....when did she ever? Descending the steps, she saw Vera waiting and promptly began to smile; she enjoyed the the young womans company.

"Beat it!" she playfully flailed her hand in his region while he walked away. Stopping just before [member="Verana"] , her attention was diverted towards her lightsaber.

She wanted to participate. "Yeah, of course." She smiled before casually accepting the weapon into her own hands. She motioned for the younger woman to follow behind her. Romi approached a courier droid of an unspecified degree that had been in use around the course as a way of communication; the organic layout made long range communication hard.

She'd retrieve it's cylinder and placed Vera's saber hilt inside before returning it to the droid. She circled around and punched in a few coordinates as the course itself was broken up into hexes. When she was done, she smirked and nodded; the droid took to the air and went to its destination.

"Don't worry." She said walking with Vera to the one of the openings that led further into the course. "Give it a few minutes, and then you're good to go." She gently patted the girl on the back before stepped back towards [member="Anari Mero"] .

"Don't let them beat you Vera!" Not that it was a competition but...she agreed that just a bit of competition fostered growth.

"How're you Anari?" She turned towards the Knight, whom she remembered from Lola Sayu.

The hilt was taken and deposited into a droid. Vera followed along with Romi towards the entrance to the course. The size of the place was somewhat lost on her, and the fact that it would take a few minutes to get her saber properly hidden made things seem more intimidating than it had any right to feel, but given the nature of the test it was probably just the pre-test jitters.

“I trust Master Jade to be fair.” She responded to the other apprentice who warned her of the master’s ‘cruelty.’ They separated and Vera gave Romi a quick smile over the words shared between the apprentices. “Besides, I won’t be alone.”

Make of that what you wished, but Vera already had a game plan.

Romi ventured off and Vera stayed put to allow herself a moment of meditation before it all began. Her eyes shut and she focused on the world around her, let it seep into her and show that which would otherwise have been unknown to her. She ignored the comment about the competition. She had found that it brought about a measure of stress that meant focus could easily be shifted from the task at hand to the constraint applied to it. Haste could always be applied, of course, but to focus on time as a debilitating addition would do her no favors.

The signal sounded and Vera rose from her knees to look at the path up ahead. There were many paths she could take which begged the question which path the droid had taken given its ability to, well, fly above it all. She held her focus and tried to get an approximate location in which her lightsaber could have been placed. There was a faint glimmer in the distance, but then so again there was another one in the other direction, and the further she stretched herself the more evident it started to feel like decoys had been placed in the field.

A frown spread on the girl’s lips. That was not what she had planned on at all.

Up early, as early as one could be. Perhaps a little too early by other standards. Ninety percent of Kahne's days started off in the meditation chambers, or sometimes in the gardens but today the Jedi was sitting on the far side of the training course. As out of the way as one could be, as these ground weren't usually busy this early however that was until he felt the presence of a few individuals enter the grounds. The Jedi's eyes opened slowly as he could see Romi and several others nearby. He learned of their names through passing but hadn't been formally introduced to them yet.

All in good time though, as he closed his eyes once again and he cleared his mind, focusing on what was happening now and all the while he could feel force flowing smoothly through everything in the grounds and even towards the Praxeum. Some individuals were stil in bed, while others were getting breakfast. The water flowing through a stream nearby seemed as calm as could be, and the fish that swam through the stream.

It was the start of a good day, he felt later he might join Romi and just watch her students go through the course.

Anarielle continues to watch with her elbows atop the five feet tall sandstone partition that seperated the Garden from training square, one of the faces she studied closely and identified more readily than the Others they had perhaps had an encounter before but never exchanged lengthy words as Anari's memory recalls. Long ears recognise her own name gesturing the ill albeit still very mobile Sephi Woman to mantle over the Sandstone wall using both hands to push herself up high enough to raise and plant one of her boot soles upon it before stepping over it and landing firmly. Those distinctly knife-shaped and long ears ubiquitous with her race fan out away from skull visibly. Anarielle continued to carefully protect knowledge or familiarity with the full depth of her Jedi training from the others within the Praxeum. In a way Anari hoped to protect its' rank and file members but avoid forming an attachment to the organisation if it came to disappoint her expectations but the leadership thus far had won her respect and trust on a personal level with the Praxeum still being in infancy, and the force in turmoil Anarielle couldn't see its' future with clarity and that was somewhat disturbing for it mimicked the conditions surrounding the years preceding and including the Clone Wars. Coming within a respectable distance Anari pauses in her rugged and scruffed black boots before Master Jade and the Assembled Padawans and gives a respectful bow towards the woman with hands forming clenched fists and pressing into thighs for a moment until she rose again. "Master Jade, a pleasure to greet you on this fine morning along with your assembled class." Pausing for a moment Anari regarded those young aspirants offering a small pursed-lip smile accompanied with a nod; They were too old to be training as Padawans adults had too many personal attachments and of no fault of their own couldn't ever truly divorce themselves from them. Anarielle was fair enough to acknowledge however that no Jedi even amongst those she had known in antiquity were ever truly free of all attachments was their affiliation and service to the force and order not an attachment in itself? Anari thought it was but believed so long as one trained themselves to release that attachment without fear as many indeed most did. The Jedi's life demanded much of the order's members though and for Adults it was often too much to ask even if the heart was earnest and willing, Anari thought the practice of prohibiting the training of Initiates any older than middle childhood was foolish. Yet, despite all of this there was a distinct serenity in the way the Force ebbed and flowed around the Praxeum that Anarielle finds soothing and peaceful. "I was hoping that you might be aware of Master Farseer's whereabouts this morning?" Anarielle wiped the beads of sweat steadily forming across her pale pallor away unceremoniously, between her time within the Order and Confederacy's Military centuries ago she'd had enough time to discard vanity in situations where it was not appropriate. Anari let out a low 'Phew' from her lips and cranes her neck upwards to study the sky and the sun's contact with the stone that had been used to construct the Praxeum 'We will need to incorporate better insulation and reduce the thermal conductivity of internal furnishings.' The thought is born of her inner architect and engineer, two fields which she dedicated much time to especially after leaving the path of the Jedi. Though many made the mistake of identifying Anari as a Jedi Knight she was ever quick to politely dismiss the notion believing firmly that she did not and could not adhere to the path any longer not truly, something she was keen to explain to Master Farseer along with her rather unique relationship and history with the Order.

Having set off in search of the crystal Aten stopped within the grass of the training field, grass surrounded them, the walls and pillars rising up casting shadows. His master was seeking for the apprentices to play a game of hide and seek, or in truth perhaps Romi was teaching them a more viable lesson. One that was more spiritual than physical, not long ago her and Master Starchaser had returned with an armful of Spiriti crystals. Crystals that in a way were as sentient as any of those present. Crystals that bonded with their owners, a spiritual bond. Breathing inwards Aten’s eyes shut, lowering himself to the ground legs crossing the currents of the light filled Aten’s form.

Martial arts were about being centered just as much as utilizing the force, in this Aten found it easy his mind opening to what lay around them. In it flooded, all around the light coalesced around the training grounds. The essence of the plants and grass he sat amidst, the trees, the aura of the other jedi. They all stood out. The force was living, breathing, and it surrounded them. While the rest of the galaxy continued to grow dark this was a bastion of light wherein such times Jedi could find peace.

Narrowing his focus blocking out the other obstructions Aten felt out for the familiar presences that surrounded them, and that’s when he felt it. The crystal that sought out its master just as he did. The crystal almost seemed to be scared, frail in its belief that it had lost its master. A tendril of the force stretched outwards containing Aten’s thoughts in a calming manner. Its alright little guy, I’m still here. Similar to a pet reacting to its master the crystal pushed into the contact.

Eyes shooting open Aten could feel it, his saber, where it was calling to him. Stepping off the training grounds and to a nearby pond Aten looked into the depths of it, his reflection apparent the water a light blue. There at the bottom, the saber sat. Hand reaching out Aten called the weapon to his palm. No not a weapon, a friend.

Her head tilted to the side a bit, she recalled all the events prior to retreating to the course "I can't say that I have, no." she nodded in reiteration. Honestly, she could probably count the number of times she'd actually seen Ember in person on her fingers. Both busy people, she just spent more time in the field. "Last time I spoke with him, we talked about the progress of the course." she folded her arms and with a subtle twist of her waist she was now looking upon [member="Anari Mero"]

"I told him I'd give it a test run with a class or two, I was hoping he'd stop in at some point when he had time."

They were really on a name basis; the two hadn't really connected, though she hoped they would at some point.

"Hey...I also wanted to thank you. I know you were apart of that strike-team that went to the Citadel. I'm incredibly grateful for what you guys did. Thank you." She mentioned, recalling her imprisonment on Lola Sayu.

A few beeps caught her attention, and she pulled the datapad from her utility belt as it sprang to life on its own. "I guess it's loaded, time to check progress."

She watched the screen load, and it split into individual sections. One for each of the apprentices. "Seems like Aten is doing well. He must've tapped into the bond with his crystal. Smart. Lets see how he makes his way back." She punched a few buttons on the side signaling a few remotes in his hex to come to life and proceed to halt his process in the best way they knew how. "Gonna turn the charge up just a bit..." she traced her index finger up the pad, "There we go."

A beat. She tapped the screen.

"Lets take a closer look at the others."

She ventured further into the course and contemplated her next move. If there were decoys then that meant that she was in trouble. It meant she had to consider her next move by either a gut feeling or try her best to track it down, or worse use some kind of mathematical idea of where it was. She was outright horrible at math, and if she could she’d rather avoid reliance on gut feelings. Problem here was then that there were no tracks to follow. The droid was able to fly over any and all grounds that would leave a trace.

Her eyes set for the sky and the birds above. If only she too had been able to fly, then this whole thing would have been far easier. She closed her eyes and let in another deep breath to let herself focus on the few trails that she had already found in the force. This saber wasn’t one of her own construction but rather one that had been provided to her upon joining the Silver Jedi Order. She was overdue for the design and creation of her own lightsaber, but in all honesty she didn’t value the weapon perhaps as highly as she was supposed to.

All things considered she had always prefered her carbines but she’d never let the Jedi know that. After all, she came from a less civilized part of the galaxy that still ushered in a less civilized time.

Her eyes opened and she tried to look for ways to find the high ground. The walls that surrounded her were all made of giant stone bricks, and while the idea of perhaps cheating didn’t appeal to her, she also felt a need to get herself the lay of the land. As such, her hands quickly grasped between one of the stones and tried for a good grip. Years of living in the wilderness had a tendency to make you a good climber. Rocks, trees, she would know how to scale this damn wall.

Or, well, maybe not. She got a ways, but when her foot placed itself in an awkward position she felt her grip loosen up. She fell to the ground with a rough thud and an equally pained ‘oof’ that forced most of the air out of her lungs. But the girl was not a quitter, she got herself off the ground and with a quick push off the ground using the force she got herself a grip on the very ledge she had sought to reach.

The climb was tough, but with the strength that she had she got herself up on the walkway and gave the area a lookover. Interesting, it was section off like that then…

Her eyes looked to the sky and the birds above again. Her eyes closed and she let herself extend not in the area but towards one of the avians circling above her. It descended towards Vera and she held her arm out for it to perch. It’s talons dug into her exposed skin and cut an opening, but that did not matter to her. She gritted her teeth and gave the bird a quick stroke on its head before she gave it a simple instruction:

“Help me find my lightsaber.” She said and let it set off towards the sky again. The bird began to follow closely above her like an extra pair of eyes before she jumped off on the other side of the walkway.

Four eyes were better than two. Verana had a good idea of where the saber was now that she knew what she was faced with.

Resonating with his saber Aten felt strangely more at peace than he ever had, while the jedi praxeum was calming, providing a safe environment for the jedi surrounded by like folks this was different. The crystal understood Aten in ways no one else could, his focus honed to a fine point, he felt the force flowing between him and the crystal in a conducting loop as it fed Aten’s ability their bond strengthening as they were reunited. Turning to head back to the starting point Aten halted a faint whirring coming to life around him. Ears perking up slightly his eyes glancing over the area Aten felt a faint surge of warning. Not just from the force but the crystal, a sense of urgency. MOVE!

Kicking off the ground Aten entered a backflip that carried him upwards onto a small boulder just in time for the faint sound of a bolt flew past where his lower back had been. Feet touching down onto the solid surface Aten spun ensuring to keep his balance on the stone platform. Rearing up from behind a larger boulder a remote hovered firing another bolt at the Jedi. Right arm extending Aten sent his will through the saber the azure blade coming to life just in time to intercept the bolt. Sent on a return course to the remote the machine shifted its spherical body so the bolt met its body to disperse harmlessly across its metallic shell.

At least its just one. Aten thought his feet spreading across the boulder his saber hilt lowering slightly and slightly canted to the right. Now acutely aware of his surroundings Aten heard the wearing of three more remotes come to life from around the Jedi in different spots. One even coming out from beneath the water he’d retrieved his saber from. Me and Master Jade are going to have to talk about this later. Aten thought his body moving instinctively. Wrists turning clockwise the tip of his blade intercepted another bolt sending it harmlessly into the sky. Feet shifting his saber returning to its original angle it intercepted another. The martial velocities of Soresu were probably the one thing Aten could claim competency in, all the other saber forms were outside his set of very limited skills.

Kicking off the stone entering a front aerial, saber held out to his side Aten’s legs split enough where the next bolt flew between them he landed. Too easy. When that thought crossed his mind Aten felt a sudden burning on his rear. “CHIT!” The Morellian screeched jumping slightly. There was a slight resonating frequency coming from the crystal, what Aten could only assume was laughter. “That wasn’t funny.”

Impressive...

The Jedi thought as he opened his eyes and took a deep breath before standing up. It seemed her students had begun the course and from how he sensed things, it would appear that they were progressing along. A few hiccups along the way but that was expected. Kahne stiffled a yawn as he used his hand and covered his mouth a bit before he began his walk on the outer levels of the course towards [member="Romi Jade"]

The Jedi had surveyed the course before it was well constructed and the challenges throughout were well placed. The Jedi walked with his hands behind his back as he was now in proximity of Romi and another individual, whom he did not know. "Greetings this morning, Romi it's good to see you." The Jedi Master turned [member="Anari Mero"] "Kahne Porte, it's nice to meet you." The Jedi said with a small respectful bow towards her, as he turned his attention to Romi again.

"They look to be doing a good spirits. You've done a good job with them thus far my friend." Kahne said with a small smile as he looked at the screen and it took him back down memory lane when he was just a padawan and the trials and tribulations that he went through. Even know he still trained himself as much as he could and as time would allow outside of spending time with his family and missions and such.

Chiassa had taken to the outdoors this fine day on Eira Pechal. The Jedi Initiate had gone out to a vacant part of the grassy area in the courtyard to practice the katas a Twi'lek Knight had shown the youngling clans back on Coruscant. Sadly, the Tholothian was the only one of her clan to have made it to the Jedi Praxeum. She was a bit lonely, but not alone. A young Nautolan had befriended her... well as any boy would a girl at their ages. Let's just say he tolerated his rival wth cooties because Chia could give [member="Zak Dymo"] a run for his money from a certain point of view.

As Chiassa finished the first set of katas and was about to move on to the second, the Tholothian's bright blue eyes gazed upon a group of older Jedi that were on a training course of some such. Curiosity got the best of the young one and so the Initiate moved closer to observe; more or less to watch and learn at this moment in time. She was in awe of them.

Azu was super excited to be on a new planet! While Neffy was finding out more about Eira Pechal and this Jedi Praxeum thing, Azu ran off to explore and look for other younglings. A ways off, he saw someone practicing a kata set. Azu watched her, hoping to learn something from her, when she stopped and moved to watch the older Jedi. Azu ran over to get a better look too. It was cool seeing this many other Jedi.

"Hi! I'm Azu." the youngling said to the Tholothian

~still spying on the older Jedi

The Jedi Initiate sensed someone was coming up behind her before she actually saw the other youngling. The Tholothian had not met them before, but they seemed friendly enough.

"Hi... I am Chiassa. Nice to meet you," she offered [member="Azu Sovint"] with a small smile, then looked back at those on the training course. Some were having a good time. Some seemed to be frustrated.

The youngling turned her head towards the newcomer again.

"I haven't seen you around as of yet here at the Praxeum, Azu. Are you new? I came from the Jedi Temple on Coruscant... This is to be my home now I guess."

On further examination she frowned, this was out of curiosity however. "Vera..." She spoke barely audible words to herself mostly as she began to analyze the Padawan. "She's utilizing her environment...she's creative." Pursed lips, and a hand on her hip; she was impressed really by the work of these two. "I'm curious to see how this plays out..." She switched screens.

She observed Aten, whom had always been good in his specific set of skills no doubt. He'd been growing every day. With much more propensity for unarmed combat, she wanted to test him in this field with his saber...as this was what the course was about. Though sometimes he could be overconfident and well..."Ha...that was funny." She giggled to herself. Sometimes she'd join in the teasing with the boys.

But since adversity was the last lesson they covered and were sort of implementing, she wanted to see how he got out of this now that he'd accomplished the first objective.

Her head whipped around as she saw Kahne approaching from her peripheral. "Hey Kahne!" She welcomed him with a smile, always enjoying his company of course. "Thanks." which meant a lot as she rarely ventured into teaching and this time she'd taken three apprentices. "But it's all them really." she mentioned. "Were you just stopping by?" she questioned.

A brief glance behind them she noticed younglings, smiling as she'd felt their curiosity but their quick minds suddenly drifted to one another.

"Don't mention it." Kahne said with a small smile as he in turn watched what was going on and they all as he felt earlier displayed good skills thus far. "Oh come on give yourself some credit at the least." The Jedi Master spoke as he patted her shoulder for a brief moment before returning to his regular posture. "They will look back and they will thank you for what you've done for them." Kahne said with a gentle nudge through the force as he glanced back toward the two younger Jedi that were close to them.

Kahne chuckled lightly as they seemed to be engaged in conversation now perhaps if they wanted he would speak to them while he was here. But for now he turned back to Romi and watching her students progress and grow.

"Ah yes, I was just stopping by and seeing how things were. I was meditating near the course for a little while and felt several presences nearby and decided to investigate."

Rear still stinging from the recent shot Aten’s brow furrowed, his master was really trying to test him and he was outnumbered. Acrobatics would be too draining when combating so many, and they could react to whatever bolts he redirected. It seemed like the Jedi was on the losing side, due to his defensive saber form. Though he truly wasn’t. Romi wouldn’t trap her apprentices without some way to surmount the challenge before them. The four remotes sat spaced evenly around the Morellian, two at his rear the other two in front.

Knee’s bending, saber tilting slightly Aten kicked off the ground in what appeared to be a leap, the remotes began tracking his progress and fired, except Aten hadn’t truly leaped. It was a light kick off the ground to fool the machines, one they’d fallen for. The lasers went just over Aten’s head as his feet landed solidly on the ground, shoulder-width apart. Right foot stepping in, left moving to parallel it, the saber snapped up from beneath the first remote cleaving it in half. The azure blade cleaved through it with such ease that it might as well not have even existed.

Recalculating the remaining three remotes swiveled firing at Aten. Though now all three were in eyesight. Left leg shifting to the side and bracing itself, Aten’s arms raising, shoulders bent the blade was now horizontal to the ground all three of the lasers impacting the blade deflecting in random directions. Right hand lowering and going off to the side, Aten’s left hand left the hilt, cast out to the side his will forming an unseen grip on the second remote before propelling it into the third just as it was about to fire. The remotes collided in a clang their metallic bodies horrifically misshapen. Falling to the ground they lay there unmoving.

The last and final remote got its shot off the laser burrowing into Aten’s left shoulder, a welt already beginning to form. Left hand raising Aten brought it down an invisible swat going through the air striking the remote, sending it careening to the ground. “Two hits, could’ve been worse. Aten mumbled to himself turning his back on the remotes to head in Romi’s direction.
