SPECIAL FEATURES
Extreme Sharpness, capable of slicing through conventional materials as easily as a lightsaber due to be sharpened with lasers and its specialized vibrocell
Vibrocell cannot be overloaded with electricity due to experimental capacitance shield type upgrades to the hilt, allowing blade to tank multiple blasts of electricity.
Vibroblade will not activate for any except Vera.
Strengths:
Rip and Tear: Anybody not in lightsaber resistant material is pretty much doomed.
Lightsaber Resistant: The Phrik alloy in this blade allows it to withstand multiple strikes, though sustained contact will gradually melt the blade after more than thirty seconds.
Customizable: Its power cells can be swapped out to include ones that add incendiary, cryo, ion, electric, energy or sonic effects.
DNA Lock: Will activate for none but Vera
Weaknesses:
Acid: Acid eats through the blade quickly
Paddle Beams: Paddle Beams shut off the vibrocell if it makes contact.
Mandalorian Steel: Mandalorian Steel, in any amount, seems to damage the blade, due to some mysterious byproduct of the ultrasonic vibrations interacting with the material when struck.
Water: Water will short out the blade and render the cell unusable, requiring a replacement.
Mode Locked: While it will activate for no one but Vera, it is keyed to interact with Vera only when it's hilt detects the chemical changes in her body that signify she is using her main combat disguise.
DESCRIPTION
Law Abroad is Vera Mina's personal Katana, forged in the research labs of Castle Morpheus. Capable of slicing through nearly any material save lightsaber resistant ones, this is Vera's weapon of choice while operating as a mercenary. As elegant and deadly as she is, the blade is nonethless held back by weaknesses to acid, Mandalorian Steel, and the fact it will only serve Vera in her preprogrammed chiss identity. This suits Vera perfectly fine, as she regards it as among her most personal tools, and it makes sense it would only serve her rawest self.
