CORUSCANT
SITH TEMPLE - STREETS

It was nearing midnight. After several taxing hours of pouring over tomes and tomes of Sith history, Darth Noxia decided that she had enough. She was reading up on the Great Sith War, where the Sith Empire led by the Jedi-turned-Sith Lord Exar Kun. The Republic and Jedi won the war, but it was Pyrrhic victory, and it came with a great cost, losing many of their forces in the process.

Exar Kun was killed and his Sith Empire collapsed leading to the end of the Great Sith War. She was exactly looking for anything in particular, just reading over the facts that was recorded over the ages, seeing if there was anything useful in there that she could use for the betterment of the One Sith empire. The answer was a resounding 'No' as there was nothing there she hadn't already thought of. So much for research.

It was not entirely fruitless, despite not finding anything as reading was one of favourite past time activities. It was then that she realised that room was dark now, lit by lights instead of the natural daylight. Rising up from her chair, Noxia afforded a quick body stretch, loosening her stiff limps and back. She placed the tomes back in their original positions and left the Sith Temple, heading out into the busy streets of Coruscant. As she walked past the endless rows of street performers and hawkers, her stomach grumbled, protesting at the lack of food. Sith or no Sith, one still needed to eat. The stomach still won in the end. Curses.

As Noxia walked past a small quaint looking eatery, her feet took her her in, and she slid into a seat, ordering herself the item on the queer looking menu that looked the most palatable. 'Urgh' was the only sound uttered by the blonde as she sighed to herself, what was she doing in a place like this? It was unbecoming of her.

Hunger. That was all he felt. Ancient Anzati genes surged through his body, and tonight he would feast. Walking through the streets, Enoch searched with his mind. Weak, weak, they're all weak. He was starting to think no one on this planet would be a suitable meal for him. That was when he felt it, a presence in the Force. Rather strong, at that. Now, he searched with his eyes, looking for the source, and finally, he found it. Well, her, to be more precise.

Rather beautiful. What a shame I'm hungry. If he hadn't been so starved, he would've simply left her be. No need to kill a pretty Sith. One never knew when they might need an ally. Yet, Enoch quickly followed her, perhaps his hunger was keeping him from being stealthy about it, but he didn't notice. Enoch's eyes were locked on the back of her head, and civilians gave him rude gestures as he pushed them aside. When she walking into a diner, he couldn't help but smile. How ironic, she chose this place.

He entered shortly after her, sitting in his own seat, off in a corner of a diner. While hungry, he didn't want to miss a chance to play with his food. Holding a menu, Enoch stared at her over it.

As she placed her order for the most palatable item on the menu, Darth Noxia could feel a presence snagging on her, like she was being watched by some person or entity. Dipping into force sight, the blonde sith glanced around, trying to look for the person in question. As her amber orbs travelled through the entire occupants of the diner, she found the one she had been looking for.

A young man with a mop of tousled soot black hair, his orange eyes staring at her hungrily atop a menu as he tried to hide behind it. Noxia would return him a death stare, unsure of what the kriff this sithspit's problem was. Minutes after minutes would go by, as the pair retained their focus on each other.

What in the kark was this supposed to be anyway? A staring contest?

Her food arrived, and she diverted her focus back onto her food. It certainly looked alot more appetising than she had expected. Noxia was about to scoop a handful into her mouth, when she realised that the fellow over there was still staring at her. His stare seemed to have a certain hunger to it, as though he wanted to eat her up. She couldn't stand it any longer.

Pushing back her chair rather nosily, which attracted the attention of several other diners, Darth Noxia ignored them as she made her way to the corner where the guy was seated at. He was still staring. The nerve. As she approached him, her eyes would flare with anger as she said "Hey you, what's your problem? Had your fill of staring yet?"

Oh, she stared back. A fighter, that'd only make this more fun. As she stared at him, and he back at her, he tried his best to size her up in his peripheral vision, as well as with his mind. Blonde. Female. Strong. Looks rather...pompous. No this would be no easy catch. While they stared at each other, Enoch probed out with his mind. While not yet strong enough that he thought he could force his way into her mind, he did his best to pick up any outside signals. Sith, certainly. Strong, most likely, and strength meant a better meal for Enoch.

Oh-hoh? She was getting up, and headed his way no less. "My apologies, I was just..." as he spoke, his tentacles wound themselves out of their sockets, and wiggled through the air, "...admiring." The moment he finished speaking, he lunged forward, finally standing up from his chair. His arms tried to wrap around her, and his feeders would head towards her face. Certainly, this would set off the rest of the people in the eatery.

The young man seemed apologetic, but her dip into force sight had detected the presence of the dark side within him. He was no simpleton, just simply acting like one. A ruse. He was putting on a ruse. Why would that be the case? What was his objective? His shady demeanour seemed to conceal an ulterior motive, and Darth Noxia needed to figure out what that was. Her work was done for her however, when she saw his tentacles emerging from its sockets. Anzat.

Realisation dawned onto her as to what was going to happen here as the moment the man finished speaking, he leapt at her. He would find himself floating in the air however, his legs kicking in the air as his hands frantically grasped at his throat. Noxia's hand was outstretched in a gripping gesture, force choking the fool who had decided to attack her.

She did not have his death in mind however, and would cease her hold onto him when he begged her to. The rest of the diners had exited the eatery with a scuffle of chairs and footsteps as the group rapidly left the diner at the sight of the Sith Knight having her way with the scruffy looking fellow. They didn't want any trouble, and they were smart to do so. Hopefully this man here would listen his lesson, or more pain would follow as her ember orbs glowed with malice.

Hopefully he would learn, or more glorious pain would come his way.

Pain? Pain! Of course it hurt, but Enoch was numb to it at this point. His hands grasped at his throat, and his legs dangled in the air. Enoch's tentacles were the only part of him truly writing, for they still sought food.

"...I..." Enoch would do his best to speak through the invisible force wrapped around his neck. "I...wheeze...I like you. M-my....apolo-...gies...wheeze..." Enoch kept grabbing at his throat, and looked down at Noxia. He had a look in his eyes, it certainly wasn't weakness, and this wasn't begging. In fact, for a man who could easily be killed with a flick of the Darth's wrist, he seemed rather calm. While that hunger was still in his eyes, it was no longer focused on her.

"Trust....me..."

Darth Noxia listened intently at few words the young man managed between gasps as he struggled for his breathing, his hands still grasping at the invisible force around his neck. Was that an apology? She was about that disregard that pathetic excuse of an apology when something else caught her attention. He said he liked her? Intriguing. Glaring at his eyes, she noticed a familiar sight. Was the boy hungry for knowledge?

Eager, determined eyes that betrayed no signs of weaknesses. Noxia remembered that look. Though she still felt the hunger in its eyes, she knew it was different now. The boy hungered not for food now, but for something else entirely. The power of the dark side.

Ceasing the choke, Darth Noxia would quickly follow up with a telekinetic show, slamming him onto the eatery's wall behind him. If he was weak, he could jolly well crumble there and then. But if he had backbone and was stronger than that and wanted more in life that the pathetic existence he had so far, he would rise. Only through overcoming adversity, would one rise to power.

Feisty. Enoch grunted as he was slammed into the wall, his knees bending, but not once did he fall. Slowly, he let himself slide down the wall, putting one hand on his knee, and another on his back. As his looked up at her, his lungs brought in deep breaths. Still, his tentacles moved through the air, looking for prey. Thankfully, one of the staff hadn't ran off. A young girl, however stupid. She tried to hide, but Enoch could feel her fear emanating from behind her counter. The man stood straight, stretching and cracking his back. Enoch stalked over to the counter, staring at the Darth as he moved.

Food. Food. The mantra pounded through his brain as he hopped over the counter, his need for food distracting him from the pain of a broken rib. Quickly, he moved down to her, and all Noxia would be able to see from her position was the top of Enoch's back, and her ears would ring with the screams of a young Twi'lek girl.

Not a short while after, Enoch returned to Noxia, his probes retreating into their hidden sockets. "My name is Enoch Zambrano. Good to meet you." He put emphasis on his last name, not to try and scare her, but simply know what she was getting into, for Zambranos were not known for their weakness. After speaking, he did a mock bow, flaying out his hand. "At your service." As he rose, a smile was spread across his face. Yet, it wasn't honest. There was something in it, something, dangerous.

As the boy slammed into the wall, Darth Noxia was delighted to note that he did not fall. Getting up, she noticed his new source of fascination. One of the young Twi'lek girls working at the eatery. You'll bet she wished she did not show up to work today. The girl squirmed and mewed as she huddled in her corner. She did not move as the young man stood up ramrod straight, giving himself several quick stretches before making his move towards the Twi'lek, his eyes fixed onto the Sith as moved.

Darth Noxia did nothing but observed him as he did as he pleased. When the screams started, her eyes twinkled as a smile crept onto her face. Not weak, after all. That was good. The potential was there. His talents clearly lay in the dark side of the force, one she would be glad to help in the further development of. The question was, would he interested in such a thing? or did his desires lay elsewhere?

When he was finished, the young man made his move to stand in her front, his tentacles gone, having receded back into their concealed sockets. That was better, she hated those nasty things. The boy introduced himself as [member="Enoch Zambrano"]. A name she was definitely familiar with.

She had grown up hearing plenty of mentions of Director Kaine Zambrano or Darth Vornskr as he was most respectfully addressed as. Vornskr was a legend, yes but if the boy thought to ride on his sire's coat tails, he would be sorely mistaken. The Sith Lord had sired many children, but few were even a fraction of how great he was. Darth Noxia saw the boy smile, but did not miss its hidden meaning behind it. A vast multitude of hidden thoughts and desires lay concealed behind it, like an assassin with its hidden blade.

"Enoch, is it? I am Darth Noxia. You do show plenty of potential, my dear boy." Handing over a slim hand towards him, as her supple fingers beckoned towards his him. "What do you say to further developing your talents and abilities under one such as me, as an apprentice?"

Darth? She didn't seem like some of the other Darth's he'd met. Both in attitude and power. Not to say she couldn't kill Enoch if she wanted to. He watched her for a moment after she finished talking. She was willing to teach him, which was interesting, considering he tried to eat her. Noxia didn't look much older than Enoch was, maybe five years? He tilted his hand, looking down at her hand. "Your offer is a....enticing one, to say the least." Gears could clearly be seen churning through the young man's brain. Finally, he looked up from her hand, and at her.

"Show the way..." Enoch moved forward, placing his hand in hers. An experience lay ahead for Enoch, one that would lead him to incredible places. For he would ride on no ones coattails, certainly not his father's. He would create his own path, one that was burned through the countryside, leaving nothing but destruction and fear in it's wake, "...Master."
