SETTING INFORMATION
Structure Name: Larraq Homestead
Classification: Homestead
Location: Near Bralsin (Town) and Keldabe (City) on Mandalore (Planet)
Affiliation: House Larraq; of Clan Dem'adas by marriage
Accessibility: For the most part, the Homestead looks a lot like any other cluster of farms and ranches in Kelta Valley. It's easy to find, though, since it's the only one with a giant, rusting mining walkers parked in the back yard.
Description: The Larraq Homestead is a 200 acre collection of small family farms and ranches nestled within the Kelta Valley

POINTS OF INTEREST

The Larraq Homestead sports numerous Farms and Ranches, each owned by a small family group within the larger House Larraq. Each farm and ranch sports an assortment of direct relatives and close cousins in a tight cluster of buildings and tends to specialize in only a handful of trades. Most of these groups engage in some form of farming or another, with many specializing in cultivating spice and herb gardens and more than a few engaging in long term tree harvesting operations. Also common is the breeding of livestock and hunting beasts, with many Ranches supporting small flocks, packs, and herds of Shriek Hawks, Cycle Owls, Strill, Vornskrs, Napna Vornskrs, Shatuals, and a handful of Lagartoz War Dragons. At least one family sheltered a small pack of wild Rekr during the cataclysm and maintain a small section of property dedicated to guaranteeing the safety of the nearly extinct animal and promoting an active breeding cycle among the animals.

Many individuals within the clan specialize as hunters, tracking the dangerous beasts of their homeland for food and hide and not shying away from the more dangerous beasts of the planet, such as Catra'diamtr, Giant Shriek Hawks, Dragon Bears, Mandalorian Vipers, Rawls, and numerous other creatures. A few of the families operate tanneries, some of which being of note among House Larraq and at least one being popular throughout the Kelta Valley. While many of the families own a small garage or workshop for the maintenance of personal equipment and vehicles, and a handful operate more commercially minded workshops, when it comes to raw metalwork, there is only one Forge. A large and ancient structure, the Forge is filled with a mix of simple tools and complex machines and is shared by every family in House Larraq.

SECURITY
Medium

All but decommissioned since the terraforming of Mandalore back into a habitable environment, a hulking Harvester-class Mobile Mining Facility straddles a 38 acre swath of land centered over the oldest and most densely populated section of the homestead. While this monstrous machine mainly just creaks in the breeze these days, it still stands ready to protect the homestead with a powerful shield, a handful of tractor beams, and a powerful mining laser. While not protecting the people of House Larraq, the Harvester also serves as a sort of over-sized landing bay and garage for the speeders and air-speeders of House Larraq as well as to easily enable foreign customers to put their vehicles somewhere that wont spook the herd animals. The machine shop aboard the Mobile Facility is regularly put to good use by various family members and the small medical bay is occasionally used to treat someone too severely ill or injured for simple home remedies but not quite ill or injured enough to send off to the hospital of Bralsin.

For the rest of the Homestead, though, it's the people who live there that any ill-intentioned individual would have to attend with. If asked, they'd say their security was average for Mando'ade. For a foreigner though, used to a less armed and armored general population, they might say they had pretty good security. With the Harvester still there, rusted or not, the centermost section of land and homes is capable of some pretty extreme security if they want to turn the Harvester on. From area shields that can withstand volcanic erruptions to the massive mining laser resting at the machine's front, the old thing's definitely got a bit more going for it than the average farm.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

For generations, House Larraq was a small clan that centered itself around Bralsin, which is itself a town not far from Keldabe. The Larraq Homestead, a 200 acre patch of land spotted by a handful of homes, barns, stables, and other assorted buildings, was typical for the area. The Larraq Clan farmed this land and raised livestock on this land for generations, with each generation protecting what their ancestors had left them and adding to it with the work of their own two hands. Chief among these works were the creations of the Larraq family Blacksmiths, specialists that spent their entire lives learning their trade from previous generations and passing down family secrets to the next. For the last three decades, the family forge had been run by the eldest smith in the family, Franklin Larraq, grandfather to many a promenade and respected Mando'ad.

Much of this changed when the planet Mandalore suffered a world-spanning cataclysm as hundreds of volcanoes erupted, city leveling earthquakes shook the land, and tectonic upheaval flipped entire swaths of continents into the depths of the planet.

As millions of Mando'ade were crushed by falling debris, smothered by superheated pyroclast, or buried alive in molten lava, the people of the remote farmland of Bralsin succumbed to the same panic that swept through the rest of the world. Some took shelter in place and others sought the safety of space. Lacking any readily available ground-to-orbit capable craft, the Larraq family gathered their beasts and took shelter in the sturdiest of the Homestead buildings.

On the morning after Manda'yaim lashed out in anger at her children, the survivors of the Larraq family ventured out into a blackened world, sky too choked by clouds for light to reach the surface. Above them though, rested an old and rusted metal behemoth. Sometime in the night, as the world raged against her people the famous shipwright Rygel Larraq had ordered one of the few Harvester-class Mobile Mining Facilities not destroyed by the initial earthquakes and eruptions to make best speed for his family's home and assume a protective stance over the people he knew would be either too stubborn or too remote to evacuate. With legs outstretched and its powerful shield system deployed (a thing designed specifically to withstand these sort of extreme environments), the Harvester still stands guard over 38 acres of the Larraq homestead.

For years, as debris settles and millions of Mando'ade remained missing and presumed dead, the surviving members of House Larraq took up the daunting task of continuing to live on a forsaken world. With five-sixths of the House Larraq land exposed to acidic rain, ashfall, and near-toxic atmosphere, and the remaining 38 acres of land resting under a sunless sky, the Larraq family had to rely almost entirely upon relief supplies from neighboring planets to continue their existence on a world that would forever be their home, no matter the state of it. To facilitate this, House Larraq turned to its skilled craftsmen to barter hand-crafted goods for food, water, and fresh air.

More recently though, Manda'yaim has largely been healed of her wounds and terraformed back into a state of habitability. Most of the cities have been reclaimed and many have been rebuilt. The Mando'ade have returned to reclaim their homes, and much of life has returned to normal. For House Larraq, they welcome their brothers home and welcome the new life flowing through their homeworld, gladly reclaiming the farmlands that had been lost to the ashfall and rebuilding the farms and ranches that had been destroyed by fierce storms and ground-quakes. More importantly to the families of House Larraq though, they have been able to return to the simple life of living off their land and trading with their neighbors in Kelta Valley.

I need you to add a security rating, please.

I liked that you expanded a bit further on the "Security" section of this submission. I just need you to make clear its security rating rather than just saying "It's pretty good".

Here's what the template says so you can use it as a guide. I have marked in bold what I'm asking for:

You must provide your security assets in list format and must provide your location a Security Rating (choose from: None, Low, Medium, High, Maximum).
Just make sure it's clearly stated in the submission. That's all I need before stamping my approval.
