Designed for the Covenant of the Black Rose at their research facility in Al-Khali during initial construction, the sickness, codenamed for the labs samples as Lagoon Strain was slowly distilled and worked on. Producing several samples some which were sent to Darth Venefica and Darth Praelior for their experiments and the main body of the infection that could be studied turned into an aerosol gas that could be used to infect several people in an area. The strength of the virus was being tested on prisoners from the ship set in a cradle there. As they were working on the facility and on seeking to understand the sickness an aerosol was tested first to see the effects and track the infection time. The second test was a scalpel covered in the sickness used on a small boy to create a distraction for a mission while the sisterhood was escaping. With the interests of Inquisition brought to them a recon droid able to fire darts filled with the Lagoon strain itself. Seras kept her work careful and not willing to risk to much infection getting out while she sought to improve the delivery system. Finally she came away with her own tool to use against the enemies of the covenant, she based the delivery system off of her interrogation cartridges to spray those who fought her in the face and let them suffer a fate worse then simple death.
