STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
Lad has quite a few strengths that came about due to his hobbies, first of which is his shot with a blaster as while it isn't perfect he's had years of practice with blasters and finds it quite fun to shoot things. His second-best strength is perhaps his most dangerous one, that being his expertise and mild obsession with explosives, having learned from a pretty young age he quickly fell in love with explosives. And finally, perhaps the trait that has kept him alive for so long is his exceptional hardiness and endurance, able to take quite the beating and being thrown about before giving up, something that has help deal with the many times he's been blown back by an explosion, usually into a solid wall.
Along with his strengths, Lad has a few weaknesses to go along with it. The first of which was born from his obsession with explosives and that is being his pyromania which compels him to blow things up and light things ablaze to release anxiety and tension but also to get a rush of euphoria from it. Secondly, he is rather impulsive, quite overly so which goes hand in hand with his pyromania often or not he will go along with these impulses which more often or not include blowing things up or spending all his credits on some junk.
APPEARANCE:
A Chiss male in his late teens who's on the shorter end in height at 5'6", but Lad looks quite youthful and around his age with a habit of sporting a roguish grin and exuding a carefree vibe. Black tribal-like tattoos litter light blue skin around his arms, shoulders, upper torso, and his neck. Often or not he wears his plain old dark gray jumpsuit accessorized with a brown belt and leg holster and a matching bandolier across his chest with several pouches, over this, he'll wear a cream-coloured trench coat as he enjoys how it flows in the wind and a pair of black fingerless gloves.
BIOGRAPHY:
Lad wasn't born on the Chiss homeworld of Csilla but instead was born into slavery to his mother and father who were both enslaved while Lad was still developing. After he was born he spent his early years in the slave trade up until he was 3 years old where he was separated from his parents to be sold to a small group of pirates who went on to raise him as one of their own, usually getting him to lure folk into traps for ransom and the like. Never being told his birth name by these pirates he was only called "Lad" or "Boy" by them and simply took this as his name while growing up.
From a young age, he was introduced to blasters, explosives, and other such dangerous non-child friendly objects to which he quickly took a liking to and began playing with whenever he could, much to the surprise of his pirate 'family' he was a natural shot with a blaster and seemingly could take a decent hit before going down from his toying with explosives, coming more than close to detonating himself several times in his childhood. But as the years passed by and he became more accustomed to the life of a pirate and developing his pyromania, Lad one day went on an impulse-driven jaunt around a market in search of explosives and a nonboring crew to join as his current one had gotten slower with their piracy, but to his current crew, he seemed to just vanish as he got on a refugee ship and went off-world.
This leads Lad to the present day, in search of the oppertunity to blow things up, steal and commit other piracy or just amuse himself out in the vast universe.
