• Accessibility: The tundra region is very easy to find, but to find the actual ground zero landmark is very difficult to locate due to the constant snow blizzards and freezing temperatures.
• Description: Deep within a mountain now a crater within the Frozen tundra region of Kyrayc was what was called ground zero. The place where the super weapon destroyed the planet during the time of the old republic. The tundra is a very dangerous place as it's temperatures reach -80 Fahrenheit. Plus it has constant snow blizzards. The sun very rarely has a chance to break through the clouds over the tundra region. The ground Zero crater is the worst reaching temperatures of -110 Fahrenheit in the center of the crater. But it's rumored parts of the weapon are buried in the snow.

The crystal caves have various types of crystals in them including Kyber crystals, few people make a living braving the tundra to harvest the valuable gems.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Tundra Region is home to Kyrayc's Ground Zero. The Sith Empire invaded around 3,865 BBY. The planets population begin forming a superweapon to destroy the sith empire once they invaded Kyrayc, which the population hid in the tundra upon a single lone mountain top. Something went wrong with building of the weapon and the weapon intended to send a blast into orbit and destroy the sith armada backfired and exploded sending the planet into a nuclear Holocaust. The explosion was so massive it wiped out all life on the planet. The mountain it sat on caved in causing a crater. To this day very few people venture into the region due to it's freezing temperatures.
