The now-extinct Clan Kyron knew that all too well; their homeworld of Rhen Var was as harsh as they come. Yet somehow they survived, at least survived the weather, and their weapons are a testament of that.
The KYR-44 Polaris Precision Rifle is specifically designed to be able to weather any sort of exterior condition. A sturdy framework and coating of liquid ethylene glycol ensure that no elemental power can damage it, allowing its user to operate in even the harshest of weather. In addition to being able to weather any storm, the Polaris is a strong precision rifle that allows its user to operate with high accuracy and high damage at large range, making it an effective -- and dangerous -- weapon in the hands of a competent warrior.
