Not open for further replies.
Manufacturer: Korda Veydran (Self-Constructed Prototype)
Type: Electronic
Market Status: Closed Market
Production: Semi-Unique
Weight: Light
Size: Small
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Close-Range Helmet Signal Infiltration (Low-Tier Systems Only)
  • HUD Scramble & Visual Override Injection
  • Auditory Distortion & Battlefield Archive Playback
  • RGB Visor Strobe Induction
  • Temporary Helmet Seal Servo Lock (10–25 Seconds Maximum)
  • Post-Disengagement Firmware Trace Scrub
  • Optional Internal Combat Conditioning Mode (User-Activated)

STRENGTHS
  • Extremely effective at breaking morale in inexperienced or poorly equipped opponents.
  • Can isolate individual targets from squad communications during engagement.
  • Creates perception of suit malfunction or psychological instability rather than confirmed electronic intrusion.
  • Helmet seal lock can create short panic windows during boarding or CQB scenarios.
  • Internal conditioning mode enhances aggression and reduces fear response for trained users.

WEAKNESSES
  • Effective range limited to approximately 5–8 meters.
  • Requires several seconds to establish signal handshake before intrusion begins.
  • Cannot affect high-tier Mandalorian helmets, advanced military-grade systems, or hardened comm arrays.
  • Easily disrupted by active signal jamming or EMP interference.
  • Helmet lock override cannot exceed 25 seconds and forcibly disengages after internal safety cycle completes.
  • High power drain; repeated use risks temporary overload of the host helmet systems.
  • Does not directly affect organic minds; effects are technological, not Force-based.
  • Internal conditioning mode may cause elevated heart rate, tunnel vision, and delayed emotional recovery post-engagement.
  • Prototype instability: full calibration known only to Korda, other users risk device malfunction or injury. can only be installed or removed by a skilled armor or korda

DESCRIPTION

The Shriek-Node Tactical Warfare Module (STWM-1) is a Mandalorian-designed helmet-integrated signal warfare system personally constructed by Korda Veydran. Conceived through years of battlefield observation and study of psychological manipulation, it represents the cutting edge of Mandalorian tactical intimidation: winning the mind before the body follows.

Housed within the internal architecture of a Mandalorian helmet, the device deploys short-range encrypted signal infiltration protocols to target outdated or low-grade combat helmets. Upon establishing a signal handshake, it may inject falsified HUD overlays, corrupted glyph patterns, visual strobing, or layered auditory distortion pulled from archived battlefield recordings.

Targets may experience simulated comm loss, distorted squad chatter, overwhelming audio feedback, or aggressive tonal frequencies designed to induce panic. In limited cases, the Shriek-Node can temporarily override helmet release servos, sealing the helmet for a brief window of 10 to 25 seconds before internal safeguards disengage the override.

Following use, the system executes a firmware scrub routine that removes evidence of intrusion from the affected device's surface-level diagnostics. Victims often attribute the experience to stress-induced malfunction or combat trauma rather than confirmed electronic warfare.

The prototype unit carried by Korda includes an unstable experimental feature: Internal Combat Conditioning Mode. When activated voluntarily, the system reroutes select audio and neural-adjacent frequencies inward, enhancing aggression and suppressing fear responses through controlled stimulus exposure. Prolonged use, however, may result in elevated physiological strain and emotional desensitization.

The Shriek-Node is not a tool of sorcery or mind control. It is a weaponized reminder of Mandalorian philosophy: war is as much terror as it is steel. Its unstable prototype status means only Korda can safely wield it in its full capacity.
