- Innocent - When not under the influence of dark “magic” Kyla is extremely naive and innocent. It gives her a wonderful view of the galaxy
- Strong connection to the Force - Most of the time this is the dark side taking control in protection of Kyla, but she has within her the potential of the light side as well.

- Masochist - Kyla gets a surge from the feeling of pain; when taken by her “magic” Thielniav loves the feeling of pain. That leads to very little caution being taken.

- Dualism - Most of the time she is just a naive girl who is trying to find her way in the galaxy, but the dark “magic” takes over and she is no longer herself.
APPEARANCE:
Kyla is a tall healthy young woman with dark skin. Her hair is jet black and almost always in braids. Her most telling feature is her glowing (on occasion literally) green eyes.
BIOGRAPHY:
Thielniav was born the child of the Sayormi Queen (descendant of the Sayormi Queen in Wookieepedia, not the same one) and an unknown Kiffar Jedi. The presence of both the light and the darkside in the Princess at birth was seen as a threat by her mother. The Queen created an artifact that would make the child seen Force-dead and waited to see if the inherent dark would take over her daughter. At two years old Thielniav still showed signs of light in her heart. The Queen could not allow her tribe to ever come under influence of the light and so she expelled her daughter into the forests of Kashyyk expecting the wilds to end Thielniav’s life.
Luckily for the toddler there was an adventuresome adolescent Wookiee, Tolmianchyywliarr, who found her wandering not far from the Sayormi’s territory. Tolmia took the little girl back to her family where she lived for five years. Thielniav was called Kurrsaaaryo, she learned to understand the Wookiees, but could only communicate with grunts and hand gestures. When Kurrsaaaryo was seven she had her first “episode”. Kurrsaaaryo was frightened by a spark within a village fire. The darkness that she inherited from her mother took hold to protect her. It took hold of the fire, it kept Kurrsaaaryo safe, but lit a good deal of the village on fire. Kurrsaaaryo understood that it would look like she had willfully destroyed the village. She panicked and ran. Assuming the Wookiees would punish her.
Thielniav roamed the forest for almost a week. Little did she know the Wookiees were more concerned for her than angry and sent search parties after her. The darkness within her hid from the Wookiees until she was found by a visiting botanist studying the local Wroshyr trees. The darkness retreated and the botanist took her for nothing more than a little girl. He was surprised that she was wandering around on her own, but took her with him to the nearest city and when no one claimed to know where the girl came from he eventually named her Kyla and took her into the galaxy as his daughter.
With the botanist the darkness was seemingly under control. Whether that was because he didn’t take chances studying only plants in secure areas. Kyla’s studies and development quickly caught up for the “lost” seven years in which she didn’t deal with things as they were out in the galaxy. At sixteen Kyla and her father took a trip to study the flora of Moraga. That’s when the darkness came out in a big way. Kyla basically went mad. She left her father and rushed off into the jungles. She set up a small hut off on her own. There she has lived for the last six years. She has terrorized the local wildlife as well as any Moragan who come into her area. Slowly over time she has extended her territory.
