- Blinding Light: As part of its smoke discharge the Void Grenade releases a flash bang potentially blinding and stunning those close by, especially if they're facing the explosion when it occurs.
- No Force? No Problem: Outside of the flashbang, the Void Grenade is little more than a smoke bomb to any non-force user with most barely if at all feeling the impact of the device with no loaded shrapnel or ballbearings to do conventional damage, this grenade is not your take-all.

Commissioned as part of the laundry list of equipment demands of Project Kyber Dark, the 'Void' Grenade was designed solely in mind for countering Force-Users of both Sith and Jedi ilk in combat situations. With its voidstone component it has the ability to severely dampen a force-user's connection, making it very difficult for them to call on their powers while they're within the smoke cloud or around the voidstone particles at all.
