STRENGTHS

• Direct Penetration: The shaped charge directs the full force of the baradium bisulfate core into a small impact zone. Against vehicle hulls, blast doors, and emplacement armor, the G5 delivers penetrating damage that a standard grenade cannot match.
• Stays on Target: The electromagnetic orients the grenade properly mid-air, and the molecular adhesive bonds to metal on contact. A grenade that cannot roll off a curved hull, bounce clear, or be kicked away before detonation is more reliable than one that can. The molecular bonding of the instant adhesive is extremely hard to remove without dedicated tools, less so with the limited time between impact and detonation.

WEAKNESSES

• Narrow Area of Effect: The grenade concentrates force rather than dispersing it. Against open personnel without cover, its damage profile is poor. It is a tool for destroying hardware or vehicles, not clearing rooms.
• Non-Magnetic: Anything that does not have a magnetic profile -- wood, for example -- will interfere with the electromagnetic systems of the grenade.

DESCRIPTION
The KWF-G5 Ret'lini Sticky Grenade is a convenient anti-armor weapon of choice for Mandalorians, easily used to disable vehicles, small craft, and fortified bunker positions. It functions by an internal electromagnet that orients the grenade midair, and a thick instant-adhesion molecular bonding agent is exuded through the casing of the grenade that instantly bonds the grenade to the surface of whatever it impacts. This molecular bond is extremely hard to remove, and under normal conditions would require high-powered specialized tools, chemical solvents, and time, all three of which most who find themselves the unlucky recipient of this grenade do not have access to.

The explosive package is equally focused. The shaped baradium-bisufate charge drives its energy forward through a directional duranium sheath rather than dispersing outward, concentrating the blast into the bonded surface. Against vehicle hulls, blast doors, and powered weapon emplacements, the G5 punches through, whereas a standard fragmentation grenade would dent and scatter. It performs best in the hands of warriors with a keen eye or sharp arm. The grenade, unique because of its adhesive timing, can be modified to have a longer fuse time and be placed on a target rather than thrown, resulting in more accurate and sure placement at the expense of having to make contact with the target itself. In addition, the grenade can be further modified to function with a remote detonator.
