Description:
KSLH Corp, was created by the mind of J.P. Huntington. His vision of his company is to produce droids (all types) - while their main production is manufacturing vehicles (personal and battle). Refusing to step into the role as future owner of his Father's company - J.P. decided that he would use the money that was set-up in a trust fund for him when he graduated from the university he intended. He invested in other minor companies buying up stock at low rates and with his extensive knowledge of business helped those companies to turn profits.
After he made enough credits and by using his contacts in the companies he assisted - he was able to lay the foundation for KSLH Corp. It was hard going to get the company up and producing. While the company was struggling to get off the ground his funds where beginning to dwindle. Humbling himself - he convinced his Father to invest in the company and through his Father's contacts was able to buy cheap materials and labour to begin producing lower than low products. This didn't sit well with him but he had no choice if he wished to see his company rise.
After four years the company was standing on it's own two feet. He found his own people to work with that gave the company far better materials to work with. He no longer needed his Father's assistance or his Father's suppliers and with some of the profits the company had made - he bought out his Father's investment stocks and fired the suppliers.
The company is not loyal to any government or organization. Just to credits and profits. They have been known to take on contract work - if the credits are good and they are not subjected to getting involved in government politics or issues. Although credits and profits is what the corporation strives for - they do not believe in destroying resources. Through their suppliers they have worked out a deal where once a resource dips to thirty-five percent they move on to another planet - allowing for the previous planet or site ample time to replenish itself.
The company philosophy has always been - and it goes hand in hand with contract work - that if they feel at anytime business is bad for their business they will back out. To protect them from lawsuits or hostile take overs by less reputable individuals - they put the Charity Clause in all contracts. The Charity Clause states that in the event of said contract cannot be completed or concluded that KSLH reserves the right to void said contract - whereas they will reimburse the client twenty-five percent of the agreed sum total and return any and all secret designs or blueprints back to them.
