PRODUCTION INFORMATION

  • Manufacturer: Jonyna Si
  • Affiliation: Krotta Krotta
  • Market Status: Closed-Market
  • Model: N/A
  • Modularity: No
  • Production: Unique
  • Material: Vardium Steel, Electronic Components, Vibroblade Componants
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Sword
  • Size: Large
  • Weight: Heavy
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Burning Bright: From a distance, it's easy to mistake the blades as lightsabers, as the fire blades function much the same.
STRENGTHS
  • Heft: Unlike Lightsabersa, the Pyroblades have a decent amount of weight behind them. This allows them to control weapons in the bind, and inflict heavy damage against armor.
  • Blazing: The superheated metal, allows the blades to damage heavy armor, from plastoids to beskar. While not a lightsaber, strikes from the heavy vibroblade allows the Pyroblades to weaken and slash through even the most tough of materials, provided enough force is put behind it.
  • Vibrational Tuning: The Vibroblades are designed to tune themselves to any material that it strikes after a handful of strikes, creating a perfect harmonic feedback loop that can damage even heavy armor.
  • Sturdy Blades: The blades, while superheated, use the vardium steel's structure to keep their form. With the provided vibration from the vibroblade components, the Pyroblades can deflect even lightsabers.
WEAKNESSES
  • Unwieldy: Unlike a lightsaber, there is no retraction feature. The blades are large, and conspicuous. How you choose to store and deploy them is up to the user.
  • Deformation: While the blades superheated nature allows them to be quite effective, it also means that the blades are prone to blunting and deformation against heavier materials. Deactivating and sharpening the blades out of combat is the only way to fix this.
  • Not a Lightsaber: The Pyroblades, while powerful, are not true lightsabers. Cutting through thicker, more sturdy materials would prove a challenge, if not impossible.
DESCRIPTION
Built by Jonyna Si at the request of Krotta Krotta , The Pyroblades were a pair of blades constructed for the jedi as a departure from traditional lightsabers. A fusion of vibrotech, and an obscure method of superheated blades, the Pyroblades provide an alternative, heavier form of offense against armored opponents, while maintaining the combat stylings of the jedi.

Good evening, I will be the judge reviewing your submission, Jonyna Si Jonyna Si .

Lovely submission, and an interesting departure from normal lightsabers. I have a question for you: Did you purposefully make this submission Semi-Unique? As these blades are only meant for one person, it seems odd to have their Production rating be anything higher than unique. Could you please give me some insight into this decision?

Honestly, I did. Since there are two of the blades, by definition they aren't unique.

I've had this rule explained to me in the past as an FJ, so I stuck to it.

After discussion with the rest of the staff, if you wish to keep it Semi-Unique, it must be prefaced with the fact that there are only 2 of them (the pair).

Or you can make it Unique with the pair, either options are viable.

Please let me know if you have any concerns. Jonyna Si Jonyna Si
