Description:
The Ma'Trul order, several centuries ago, developed a method of imbueing crystalline structures with the force for various purposes. The NIghtsisters later adapted their own dark side rituals to adjust that. However, while the Nighsisters focused on external remote viewing and augury of the future, the Ma'Trul order went inward.
The "Kristallipallo" (Crystal ball in old Palawan, Vorhi was never able to find a written Dathomiri name for the thing) is a meditation aid, designed to put it users into a trance and allow them to commune on a shared 'mindscape.' While this mindscape offers no real power and is more a dream-like state, force-users can often perceive reality differently here, and look within their own minds more earnestly. This tool can be used to allow multiple force-wielders to join minds together for brief periods, allowing them to aid each other in mental training.
Vorhi found the stone in the tomb of Norai Ma'Trul, and has used it as a tool to help his students and himself develop a greater spiritual focus ever since. By entering into a joined trance with other people, he can help them perceive their own minds, and manifest their difficulties in a tangible way. This allwos Vorhi and othe trained mentalists to better engaged their own spiritual diversions.
Another power of the sphere is the ability to conjure illusions that are visible for to the force and real sight. These visions are clearly fake, looking like poor holograms. However, they are of use when you are lecturing both beings who rely on force and real sight, being more reliable than holograms at being 'seen' by both.
