Strengths:
  • Rapid traverse rate: all three hardpoints on that vehicle can be directed in any direction to engage targets
  • Fast, nimble: can be used to outrun enemy vehicles in an attempt to hit infantry
Weaknesses:
  • Horrible carrying capacity
  • Useless against heavily armored vehicles
  • Exposed engines
  • Vulnerable to heavy weapons fire: its armor was designed mainly to fight infantry or light vehicles
  • Limited ammunition: it can be a liability in prolonged firefights, especially for the main turret
  • Weak underside: an enemy can get underneath a Kreelan, shoot armor-piercing rounds at its engine and disable it
Description: As with many of the combat vehicles in the current Ringovinda StarYards offerings, the Kreelan, named after [member="Aeron Kreelan"], was a result of applying the lessons of battle, but unlike most of the recent combat vehicle models being released by Ringo, where the lessons of the Rift campaign were applied, the is a result of applying the lessons of battle on Elom. Its weapons suite include three different weapons: the main rear-mounted cannon, a medium repeater, is capable of piercing the armor of other enemy light vehicles, while at the same time able to engage infantry, albeit in a more limited fashion, and two side-mounted weapons, which can be either 2 Korriban machineguns or 2 remote E-Web repeaters, depending on the option chosen. It also features two side-mounted repulsorlift engines with the engine struts housing ammunition or fuel (depending on whether the repeating railgun or the repeating blaster option is chosen), with the low cockpit bubble being large enough for two crewmembers: a pilot with control over the main turret and, in a pinch, the side turrets (which are normally controlled by the gunner).

Since it is not designed to engage main battle tanks or equivalently-armored vehicles, the Kreelan's armor is designed to protect against infantry weapons and, as with all vehicles in that line, it shares the same weakness: if an enemy can somehow close in from underneath it, it can fire a well-placed shot at the reactor or ammunition magazine and destroy the vehicle along with it. Its shield generator, however, provides limited resistance to such weapons, but not as much as shield generators mounted on main battle tanks.

On your submission for the Kaeshana cannon, you have it stated that it can't be used on vehicles smaller than 20m.

[member="Taryc Ap'Irae"] The line "The main heat exchanger on a frigate-grade unit" in the Sabrina WHRD sub is the caption of the picture in use. That sub stated that several sizes of Sabrina WHRDs were available and the smallest one could be used on fighters.

Nevertheless I removed them.

The Codex & Factory Standardized Rules
  • Plagiarism will not be tolerated.
  • Intentionally breaking these rules or attempting to mislead Judges will incur a 30 day zero tolerance ban from the Factory or Codex.
A recent submission of yours was denied once due to breaking the plagiarism rule. This is the second time I've noticed a submission of yours with incredibly noticeable similarities to another writer's submission. While some of the information has been mildly edited, it is clear that another submission was taken verbatim, and then modified slightly in an attempt to intentionally circumvent the rule. When I then asked about basing this submission on any other writer's work, thereby giving the opportunity to cite that work, I was instead lied to. The canon article linked has no information pertaining to this submission whatsoever, save for the picture used and the minimum crew required. The Wiki article contains nothing else, yet this submission has vast similarities to another, right down to the timing of its' submission and structure of the wording.

I am denying this submission due to breaking multiple factory rules.
