APPEARANCE
A human woman of advanced age, Kory was often said to be older than she looked... not that she looked very young, but that she could still pass for a women in her sixties or seventies even as she progressed into her 90's. As a young Jedi, her dark hair and vibrant blue eyes were said to make her very attractive. As age has settled her form, Kory has settled into a squat old broad who manages to still get around. Most days, she does so without a cane, but on the occasion that her hip starts acting up, she finds that one comes in handy. She doesn't move as fast as she once did, but she still gets along.

HISTORY
It was during the Shadow campaigns that a young Kory married a freighter captain by the name of Joral Sol. Like a supernova, their passion for one another was a bright as it was brief. By the time that the sun had set on the Shadow Wars at the Battle of Tallaan, Kory would bury her husband and their stillborn child.
Sometime later in life, she re-married, this time to a representative from the Atrisian Parliament, Adegan Syna. Joining her married name, rather than her maiden name, Kory took the name Sol-Syna. When a dispute over the status of inhabited asteroids claimed by the Atrisian Commonwealth led to a series of skirmishes with the Herglics, Kory earned the moniker the Beskar Lady for her leadership of several key engagements that helped to undermine the Herglic war effort and keep the whale-like aliens at the negotiating table. It was during this time that political factors on Atrisia started to demand both Adegan and Kory spend more time at home. Adegan rose to prominence as the planetary representative of Frisal to the Atrisian Parliament, becoming Prime Minister of the Commonwealth in 823 ABY. Kory, now recognized as a Master of the Holy Order of Jedi Knights, adopted the role of Jedi Watchman of the Atrisian Commonwealth and focused her time on quelling social unrest across Atrisia, Frisal, and Kileia. It was a post she would not leave for another 12 years, when, at the age of 74, the Clockwork Rebellion broke out.
Kory left Frisal for Coruscant to add her lightsaber to the charge there. While she was gone, Imperialists loyal to [member="Akio Kahoshi"] overthrew the democratic government of the Atrisian Commonwealth and declared the Atrisian Empire. Kory struggled to get back to Adegan, and discovered the Parliament either dead or in exile.
With both Adegan and herself aging, and Adegan's health failing, the pair went into exile on Kiara. Kory cared for Adegan until his death in 841 ABY, in which she found herself alone in a galaxy that she wasn't sure she even recognized anymore. Instead, she cloistered herself among the order at the Temple of Witherpoint, joining them in their monastic study of the Force while she reflected on all the choices, decisions, and paths that had led them here.
So many efforts to do right.
So many things that had gone all wrong.
She was 90 when she heard the call. The pull of the Force that was sending her... somewhere. And so, in 851 ABY, she emerged from her exile to face a galaxy that no longer remembered her in order to find her place again among the stars.
