STRENGTHS

• All Rounder: Formulated to be used thick as armor, as framing material, thin as light ship skins, or even droid frames. The new metal is made to do it all.
• Magnetism: The P617 formulation is not magnetic lending itself free of that weakness.

WEAKNESSES

• Generalist: Koralumin P617 is strong for most things. Unfortunately it isn't the best choice for armor requiring more thickness
• Weak to Corrosion: That same formulation strengths comes with the drawback of being corrodible with specific elements

DESCRIPTION

While the main Korlalumin was quite light and useful the shipwrights of Toskos sought a stronger one to replace durasteel in constructions in Quarren & Mon Cala space. This effort doubled as the close call of a rebel group stealing part of the Dac orbital shipyards hit too close to home. Binn Toskros was already disillusioned with the Imperials, the loss of her husband... the now multiple raids on Dac that only came about because of them. And then finally almost losing her metallurgy labs & a shipyard. The formulation finally being marked as finished via testing four weeks after the shipyard raid & heist.

Binn had decided it was time to work with the disillusioned Mon Cala on a new Frigate sized vessel under the Imperials nose. The P617 metal along with the A233 very light formulations to create a new disguised warship. One that would conceal its true firepower and purpose. The design was moved to the top slot as all hands on deck worked on it round the clock. Thirty three days later the vessels blueprint was finalized as the first three keels were laid at the same time. The formulation was immediately shared to allied Quarren shipwrights, metal foundries, and Mon Cala allies. No expense was spared to set up the Quarren people & Mon Cala back on the road to independence. Not one of under the human imperial heel. Koralumin P617 being one step closer to that goal.
