Description:
Based aesthetically on the Phase III Dark Trooper, but resembling hazard stormtrooper armor in function, the Koodan-class Main Battle Armor, or K.M.B., is designed for larger beings, specifically Herglics. It has a full-body plastoid armor shell, with a body glove beneath.

+Slugthrowers - Like the traditional Stormtrooper armor, the K.M.B. is the next thing to impenetrable to slug thrower fire, unless a lucky shot hits a gap in the armor, or the visors. Any slug that did penetrate the armor would have to be extremely large and specifically designed to be armor piercing. The K.M.B. amplifies this effect because of how thick the plastoid armor is.
-Speed - The weight and thickness of the armor put a damper on mobility, though the beings equipped with the armor likely resemble tanks more than speeder bikes in any case.
+Blaster Resistant- The heavy armor is substantially resistant to blaster fire, though not invulnerable. An E-web would easily take one down, though smaller arms would not prove as effective.
+Amphibious - What makes these armor suits particularly unique is their modularity for amphibious operations.
+Hazard Resistant - In addition, the suit is sealed and renders the wearer protected from heat, cold, biological weapons, radiation, acid rain, and vacuum. The original Hazard armor design was cut back, negating the three days of oxygen supply in order to give the wearer more mobility, though there is still enough supply for twenty minutes of operation should oxygen prove unavailable. Going over this limit will result in asphyxiation.
+Lightsaber Effects - A glancing blow from a lightsaber will not cut completely through the armor, simply due to the sheer thickness of the armor. It will leave a large furrow and damage the integrity of the armor. An on target strike, however, will pierce it.

Other components of the armor include a multi-targeting acquisition system and polarizing lenses to protect against flash bangs and similar disorientation weapons.
