APPEARANCE:
Smooth as bantha butter and cool as ice straight out of Hoth, Konan is one tall drink of water. Maybe its the pointed ears, maybe its the mad stylin' doo, but this man always looks his best. Well, for a rock hopping spacer that is. He has several piercings (which in his line of work, he replaces often) on his long, pointed ears and tends to wear a fist full of plain, fake chromium rings.
BIOGRAPHY:
Born and raised on Corellia, Konan grew up not knowing his Eldorai mother. His father, like many in his neighborhood, worked at the shipyards all day and night and so he was raised by his Quarth neighbors. Growing up in a rough neighborhood, he was fully entranced by the 12 O'Clock Boys, a local swoop gang, and longed to be like them. His father wasn't having it though and sent the boy off to live with his relatives in the countryside of Corellia. His love of Swoop racing didn't die there though. He learned from his uncle the ins and outs of every repulsorlift model you could think of and learned more himself. He didn't go to college, but returned to his dingy city and worked in the shipyards just like his father until one day he got mixed up in a heist gone wrong looking. It was a speederchase for the decade and he made a name for himself in the underground. He was picked up by a local swoop gang, eventually becoming the ace winning them big. But a certain Boss didn't like the money he was pulling in and framed him for murder. He was finally captured by CorSec and escaped 15 years later when Corellia broke. He took the chance to escape the planet and returned sometime later to help with relief efforts under a new name: Konan Sunracer.
Afterwards he stayed in the system, first as a freighter pilot moving rubble, gear, and supplies to and from Kolene for the Five Brothers, then later he flew the small Q20 patrol fighters for a local militia. He spent time aboard a Bador-class light cruiser owned by one of the local mining companies, patrolling the asteroids for thieves and grave robbers as a mercenary, but he found that he adjusted to that military lifestyle quicker than he thought. After a particularly heavy skirmish against pirates, the Captain of the vessel told Konan that he had recommended him to the Corellian Defense Force navy. Reluctant at first, the captain said that they'd be able to help him with his criminal background and paid much more than the mining company. With no real urge to leave Corellia and his people again anytime soon he took the captain up on his offer and submitted to the authorities who then took his plea after some convincing from upper brass and tacked on what would have been his sentence to his standard military service. He was placed in the assault squadron of the 204th Confederate Fighter Wing, or more informally called the Corellian Cabal. It was a wing full of deserters, ex-criminals, and aging officers who had come to Corellia to serve their home regardless of their past.
