Manifesting Documentation of Subject K1... Please Wait...
The subject showed signs of improvement after the attack. Although we tried everything we could, subject K1 or Koa Ahina was subject to severe miscalculation and unfortune. The medics that brought him to station five could barely utter what they saw on the frontlines of war. Many of us don't have long and while it may seem useless in the grand scheme of our invaders, we reconstructed K1's entire body. Cybernetic arms and legs. While he will need an ample amount of time to turn the bend, I fear we may need to ship all survivors out in cryo-pods. Koa is a young soldier, where many have faltered, he has succeeded, but one man cannot stop the invading forces. I've set all parameters for the survivors to wake once they make land fall on any distant planets. This should give Koa enough time to heal from all surgeries and wake healthy too. I trust that he and the others find peace in our choice we made today.

+ Conditioning and Combat Training: Koa is a soldier, through and through. There's not a single day in his life where training is part of his overall schedule. Even after a mission, you might find him working out or looking for the next healthy meal. This has led Koa Ahina to condition his body for strenous aspects of his job as a soldier. The galaxy rewards those that are prepared and Koa is exactly that. As a human there are limits, but his training has taught him to withstand some of the nastiest hits the galaxy has to offer. It helps that he's in a full suit of armor too.
+ Weapon Expert: You would think for being frozen over the last few hundred years that Koa would have a rough time getting back into the swing of things. But you would be wrong, Koa is more of technician when it comes to firearms, swords, and demolition aspects of war. Anything and everything is a tool and breaking them down and building them back up is the best way to understand the galatic standard weapons of tomorrow. This gives Koa the adavantage when facing advesaries that don't understand the full use of their own tools.
+ Loyalty and Justice: While technically 378 years old, Koa is still only twenty-eight years of age. Being in cryo-sleep will do that to you. However, his core values haven't changed and his need for Justice still rings true. Koa is a loyal man, from a more loyal age and while it could lead to betrayl he understands that respect must first be given and then received.
+ Armored Suit: The last thing that Koa left in a cryo-pod with was his Armored VK1 Battle Suit. This has allowed Koa to stay effective and deadly in battle. While the suit is old and has no real signs of allegiance, he is lucky to still have it. Equipped with a jet-pack and a digital green visor for data and scans, Koa is living his best life as a capable soldier. -
- Fire: Due to the horrific events on the moon of Osiris, Koa has a deep fear of fire. Large flames or even nearby explosions can put him into a frightened state that force him to make frantic and otherwise, unwise decisions.
- Human Mortality: Given the lenght of time it had taken Koa to land on a planet to wake him, he has no real friends or family anymore. On top of that, the galaxy is cruel and his human makeup allows for superior species to potentially snuff out his candle once and for all, even after all he's been through he's still just a human.
- Night Terrors: Koa has gone through traumatic experiences before and now after his cryo-pod finally set him free. This has lead to a form of restless sleep, screaming and fearful for the return of another invasion like so many years ago.
- Close Quarter Engagement: While Koa is effective across the battlefield in many ways, he struggles with close quarters combat. Not because he is unable, but rather the lack of martial training. Thus, this can sometimes put him at a disadvantage against someone who has hones an actual fighting style. Whereas Koa learns as the fight takes place and mixes up many fighting styles he's encounter into a jumbled, unpredictable mess of ferocity and survival.

[L.S.R.S.] - Long Short Range Specialist: Koa is one of the finest shots in the galaxy. While many bounty hunters typically are known for such skills, Koa was rigourously trained in Long and Short range firearms of all types. This makes him exceptional at all ranges of the battlefield.

- Necklace of the Crescent Moon: When Koa is not in combat armor you will notice he always wears a necklace braided in leather from a merchant on the Moon of Osiris. It's a representation of a moon long forgotten in a distant part of the galaxy.
- Black Faced Watch: Koa has a black watch with inlaid chrome and onyx gems inside the face of it. It is an ancient reminder of his father's hard work and the only thing his father ever spent money on for himself. It taught Koa to respect credits.
- Yes Chef!: When he first joined the cause on his homeplanet Osiris, he was a recruit. Recruits earn their keep, one way or another. Koa was assigned a Chef position and quickly became enthralled with the culinary arts. Now he has a set of chef knives and loves to carry good produce to produce a good hearty meal.
