The Knights of Ren are an enclave of dark Force-sensitive warriors who serve under the Master of the Knights of Ren, Kyrel Ren. Wielders of the Dark Side of the Force, these adepts of Bogan are neither Jedi nor Sith but a separate generation of warriors picking up on the heritage left behind by previous incarnations affiliated with the older First Order regimes.
Adhering to the ways of the Ren, a philosophy epitomized by the lightsaber, the Knights roamed the Unknown Regions causing wide spread devastation as devotees of the Shadow, which represents the Dark Side of the Force itself. They have aligned themselves with the Brotherhood of the Maw due to similar ideologies, with the return of the powerful Kyrel Ren to the fold, they find themselves serving as the Vanguard of the Brotherhood against it's Force-sensitive enemies across the galaxy.
