Strengths:
  • Hit me- The Knight's Heart is a heavy armor that is highly resistant to many forms of damage. It does this by combining the natural strength of the phrik that makes up the outer shell with the natural strength of gorgodon leather that makes up the underlayers. This combo leaves it able to shrug off attacks by lightsabers and kinetic means well and be even more so with blasters. Armorweave was used for a body glove of it to provide further protection although not to the levels of the other materials. Then to top off the natural toughness a molecular shield and light shield help offer up further protection to turn the wearer from a simple armored opponent into a walking bunker.
  • Energized- The Knight's Heart has several built in features into the armor itself. A molecular shield, a lightshield on the left forearm, a grappling hook launcher on the right, and shockmitts into both gaunts. These features require energy and the addition of extra energy cells to armor allows them to be used fairly often. In the heat of battle the amount of use they can see also gets boosted further as the molecular shield absorbs incoming energy and dumps some of it back into the energy cells. This allows the armor to remain relevant in extended fights by providing it with more endurance than other energy heavy armors could dream of.
Weaknesses:
  • EMP/Ion- The Knight's Heart has many strengths, but they come with a major downside of requiring constant energy flow. An emp or ion weapon brings this flow to a deadstop by shutting down the armor's systems entirely. Without its shields the armor is completely reliant on the natural strength of its material alone. Another issue is that the helmet becomes a liability without any energy going to it as well with the best option being to abandon it rather than rely on its limited vision even if it can still protect your head.
  • Sonic Blasts- The Knight's Heart has a similar issue with sonic based weapons as it does to emp and ion. The shields and materials offer little protection from a bombardment of sound waves. The molecular shield can handle it for a very short window of only 10 seconds of direct fire until it shorts out and in some cases blows out the energy cells as well with the massive surge of energy being pumped into them. The armor itself can also magnify the damage on the body by intensifying the sound waves due to the phrik in some cases as well as the sound waves bounce around repeatedly within the armor.
  • Heavy- The Knight's Heart has defenses that make the user a walking bunker, but it also can feel like you are wearing one as well. The use of phrik normally would make the armor lighter than other metals but combining it with the gorgodon leather makes it as heavy as other heavy armors. Then it has several built in features, such as those in the helmet and gauntlets, which further add more weight to it. This means that unless the user has more physical strength than your average human, either by genetics or the use of the force, anyone wearing it will find their movements slowed down. Lighter armors or clothing will always be more flexible than the armor as well.
DESCRIPTION
As a self appointed Knight of the people, Tristram often would come to find himself in need of personal protection. With a seeming lack of fear of death, he would throw himself into battles that needed a squad rather than a single person to handle. So it was with this need in mind that he went out to collect the materials needed to build an armor that suited his role and way of life. He went out to masters all over the galaxy from master armorsmiths to tech experts. He helped them every step of the way to the best of his abilities until the Knight's Heart was finally finished.

The basic structure of the Knight's Heart is simple and true to the designs of knights of old. It starts with a bodyglove crafted from armorweave to provide very little to no hindrance to his movements. It was then worked to be vacuum sealed when worn. From there the main parts of the armor was created. An underlayer for the armor was crafted by sowing light phrik chainmail into gorgodon leather. This layer would go over the bodyglove and offered the mixture of protection and flexibility of the joints that would required in battle. Over the underlayer are plates of phrik with leather underneath them. These plates were positioned to maximize protection from most sources of damage to the most vital places while not hindering joints too much. Electronic components were built into both the underlayer and the outer plates so that the each part of the suit's features could interact with each other and connect with the energy cells built into it. The helmet was crafted the same way as the plates but with some padding built into the layer of leather for comfort and duraglass was used for the eyes to provide protection while also providing vision if limited without energy.

Several features were built into the armor to provide some versatility and utility. Many of these features were built into the helmet. These included a HUD to manage the suit's systems, night and heat vision, a rebreather, an advanced filtration system, and com system. It was also made to form a vacuum seal when worn so that it could be used in space or hazard conditions for the body. An oxygen tank with 30 minutes of spare oxygen was added as well to allow a source of air for these same reasons. Records were added to the visual and auditory functions of the helmet so that the wearer could gather information for later use. Maglocks were built into the boots to allow for space walking and attachment in unfavorable walking conditions on appropriate footing.

The features added for combat though was the addition of a molecular shield to the main body of the suit and all those built into the gauntlets. A light shield was added to the left forearm since it is the opposite side from his primary hand. This along with the molecular shield provide added protection if it is ever needed. Shockmitts were built into both of the gauntlets' gloves so that the wearer has something more going in hand to hand combat than just metal. These also allow for the option to either stun an opponent or straight up electrocute them depending on the need. And the last feature added was a grappling hook launcher into the right forearm. This hook can be used for mobility out in the field as well as some interesting uses in battle. It can be used to snare opponents or even save others from falling to their death.
