  Born to a fairly well-to-do family on Coruscant, Klar's relatively unremarkable childhood was interrupted by her father's increasingly sizable debts to a crime lord. Klar's father attempted to flee his debts - she was seized as collateral to persuade his return. Her safety was less important to him than his own, however, and Klar was essentially pressed into domestic slavery shortly after pupating. In her teen years, she languished in the palace of a minor Hutt as a curiosity. The Hutt who owned her was eventually seized by police action while moving through the core, and Klar was among the slaves on the yacht when this happened - still legally a citizen of Coruscant and as a result, she was freed by the uncaring hands of bureaucracy.
  
  An enterprising Jedi knight 'suggested' that she might find a more suitable home with the Jedi order than by re-entering the workforce, and so Klar did so at the age of 14. While the breezy young woman is not exceptional in any area of study, she has an intense passion for the technical aspects of saberplay, structures, and forms and intensely studies them. She hopes to further the scientific art of creating lightsabers as well as add her name to the great list of Jedi Battlemasters through the ages, but she has an exceptionally long way to go.
  
  As an older Padawan, Klar is working towards becoming a Knight if only to earn a greater degree of autonomy. Kind-hearted but mildly scatterbrained, she's always happy to tutor her fellows or study eagerly under her seniors, and Klar is one of the first people to volunteer for less glamorous charity and outreach work. Despite her focus on martial arts, Klar has no love of combat and avoids it whenever possible - preferring to keep all violence recreational or instructional in nature. She regularly struggles with some of the core tenants of being a Jedi, especially when it comes to controlling her emotions or forming connections to people, places, or concepts.

  +Adapted Stylist - Klar is not the best with a saber, only slightly better than most Padawans. However she's spent time studying most styles and enough sabers to have a passing familiarity with most aspects of saber-related combat. Most opponents are unused to fighting somebody with four arms, let alone somebody who smoothly transitions from a single lightsaber to a pair to a saberstaff and back again.
  +Optimist - It's hard to keep a good girl down. Klar is upbeat, energetic, and stubbornly adheres to an idealized vision of the way things COULD be. This helps her to keep going long past when it'd be reasonable to give up, especially in pursuit of defending others. Even from themselves.
  +Unconventional Study - Although she doesn't really think of herself as one, Klar is a budding amateur historian. While her preferred subject of study is commonly martial-arts related, she's had to dive though a great many codecs, tomes, and holocrons to find the bits that jive with her specific interest. Someday she might look up and realize she's essentially as much an archaeologist as she is a Guardian.
  
  ~Your Best Friend - Klar thinks the best of people - even when she shouldn't. Sometimes being trusting is a strength, sometimes it is foolish naivete.
  ~Itinerant - Given the slightest budget and lead, Klar will invariably wind up on a quest to find some old artifact or track down an esoteric master. While this leads to insight, it also leads to a poorly-rounded education.
  
  -Malleable Neurology -Either as a quirk of biology or the way her mind works, Klar is especially susceptible to mind tricks, illusions, and other similar effects. She also has a tendency to fall for scams and cons, but that's largely unrelated gullibility.
  -Wild-eyed- Klar's desire to learn new, esoteric techniques and experience unconventional saberplay has led her into trouble more than once - challenging somebody who does not understand restraint to a friendly spar, fraternizing with Sith who dangle secrets within her reach, and utilizing flashy, stylish movements over more simple and effective strategies.
  -Force Brute - Klar's control of the Force is extraordinarily clumsy and direct. While she knows the basic skills - sense, jump, push, etc - anything requiring more nuance or control is something that Klar is going to struggle with. It isn't that she doesn't try to be a well-rounded Jedi, she certainly does. She simply struggles considerably with these and will likely be able to master some of the more esoteric or exciting Force powers.
