Defenses: Balanced with flak cannons, quad lasers, anti missile octets and point auto defense turrets. The station is built to hold its own in minor engagements such as a raid or a skirmish, anything beyond that however - and the Station’s populace can only hope that the engagement would end sooner rather later. Klöcksenburgh is now equipped with its own shield generator, which provides the station with some protection against larger threats.

Points of Interest:
Rheinstar Repairworks: A ship repair yard that is able to conduct minor ship repairs, or band-aid until the vessel is able to reach a larger, more well-equipped facility. Rheinstar was founded by a pair of brothers Ferdinand and Garin vom Rhein they have been on Klöcksenburgh a little after it was founded ten years ago and have managed to maintain their operations through the years. It should be noted that Rheinstar cannot fit anything larger than a heavy frigate through its doors, anything larger will have to remain parked outside of Rhienstar, if you are a capital vessel then unfortunately you will be turned away from Klöcksenburgh all together.

Mahlowe Freight - Mahlowe is the main distributor for Klöcksenburgh the company manages a lot of the imports and exports that come through the station. Mahlowe was founded by Josefina Mahlowe who arrived around the same time as the vom Rhein brothers. Mahlowe started in the docking port next to vom Rhein’s Rheinstar before moving down to its present location. The main export from Klöcksenburgh is durasteel along with some of the raw ore used to create it.

Voith Mining - Voith Mining Corporation or initially the Voith Mining Expedition first scouted what is now Klöcksenburgh nearly twelve years ago. Upon discovery that the asteroid and a few of the surrounding asteroids contained the raw ore to create durasteel the Expedition settled down and put out advertisements for entrepreneurs within the Kal’Shebbol System.

Klöcksenburgh Center - The center as it’s simply referred to houses the majority of the residents on the station, and includes cantinas, restaurants, hospitals, retail and other provisions needed for a station to become as self sufficient as possible. The center has trams, lifts and transports to and from the other major focal points on the asteroid itself.

Description: Klöcksenburgh’s notable V-door was put in place three years ago and has been the starting point for many visitors to the station. Voith Mining now strives to maintain the station as a focal point for those coming into Kal’Shebbol from Skor, Askaj and as far away as Terminus. Those who visit, only stay long enough to rest and recover from a long journey before continuing on toward Demonsgate and the rest of the Outback.

If you came to stay, you came to work. Work, hard work is valued here on the station, and if you’re not contributing in some way then you’re a visitor and you best be on your way. The station isn’t militant by any means but if you’re here to live, you’re here to work - no one comes here to make it big, you come here because you need money and you’ll get a honest wage for honest work.

History: Voith Mining, headed up by Keifer Hartmann after Voith Mining’s failed expedition on Demonsgate. Hartmann and a small team of five travelled the galaxy’s Outer Rim Territories, more specifically the Kathol Sector and the Outback. By the time he had reached Kal’Shebbol Keifer had given up hopes of ever finding a decent chunk of rock to mine. Most of them had already been taken by someone else. He was heading toward Askaj when he came across a set of asteroids.

He and his team surveyed the asteroid for a year and a half, before finally laying the foundations on what would eventually be Klöcksenburgh. Knowing full well that he and his team would not be able to to work the mines let alone the asteroids alone, they put out an advertisement calling for frontier people, entrepreneurs, miners, and freighters alike. Slowly, ever so slowly, people began to come, humans, weequay, nitko, twi’leks, rodians, zeltrons and even a wookiee or two.

Once people began to settle down, others came, and the station grew, and grew until it has reached the size you see today. And while Voith Mining Corporation is essential to the station, what is more essential is the maintenance of the asteroid and its longevity and of course sending out new expeditions in the hopes of expanding Voith Mining.

Intent: Creating a station for role-play purposes to assist TKO members with ship repair and the mining of durasteel.

This has a very nice feel. I like how you fleshed out the companies on board, their operation, the work life of the inhabitants. It feel very real, and very Kathol Outback. Nice Job.
