APPEARANCE:
Kiyo usually wears her Japanese based tunic, boots and gloves while keeping her hair down and wearing a bandanna. All is green and golden, her favorite colors, but she’ll wear whatever she feels like at certain times. Sometimes something heavy, other times light.
BIOGRAPHY:
Kiyo was born the only child of a human dock worker and Zeltron dancer in the Hutt controlled systems of the galaxy. They were a poor family doing what they could to make by while supporting their child. Growing up in the slummy districts Kiyo always had to be babysat by others while her parent’s shifts often changed where they worked. She became distant from most and kept quiet and too herself.
Finally being able to go to school Kiyo finally started making friends while starting to become more open. During this time her parents argued a lot, both over Kiyo’s future and her father disapproving of her mother’s job even when she argued it was making enough money. Kiyo had never liked hearing them argue but given how often they did it was something she endured all her life.
By high school Kiyo began to act out during her studies. She tried going into gymnastics and dancing while hiding the fact that she was doing violent acts towards others as a means of ‘release’. Often she would bully others or cause disturbances. Most time she managed to avoid being caught, learning over the years, or managed to frame others for her acts. And not only did she do this in school but outside in public as well, stealing things or even beating people who got on her bad side.
Eventually she was caught stealing in school before getting into a fight with another student, warranting the attention of her principal and her parents. They punished her but when confronting her about it Kiyo said it was the only way to calm down due to all of her parent’s fighting. It became more apparent that Kiyo was suffering from a violent disposition and her parents worried about sending her away to an institution. Overhearing this Kiyo ran away from home.
For over a week Kiyo lived on the street while stealing to survive. She was living in an abandoned home among homeless people while lying and saying she escaped from an abusive home, the others falling for it easily due to how well she lied.
One day, however, a fire had started at her home when she passed by. Upon arrive Kiyo discovered her parents were dead, only they did not die in the fire but instead were shot by a local gang of thugs. Wanting revenge Kiyo had come to the gang leader and, lying her way through, gave another lie about her life and said she was orphaned because of a man who killed her parents and she wanted revenge. The gang leader, finding a “certain spark” in her, took her in and allowed his men to train her while she was forced to live off her time as a dancer at his club.
For years Kiyo was trained by professional killers and thugs while using her own skills to her advantage. For over four years she kept her lies in check and managed to make her own stories that the men believed while befriending them. And her skills as a dancer, given her Zeltron heritage, proved useful as well.
By the age of nineteen Kiyo had managed to kill a number of people that wronged the gang leader, including some that she knew as her parent’s friends without a hint of remorse. When the leader had agreed now as the time to find the man who killed her parents Kiyo had agreed before stabbing him in the neck and letting him bleed to death while reminding him of who she really was. Within that same day over half the gang members were killed while the others disbanded or left in fear.
Kiyo, now with her life hidden under more and more lies, continued to do what she knew best: killing for profit, and dancing. And her personality goes hand-in-hand with her unpredictable nature as some have called her “as unstable as a nest of crazy gundarks.” During this time she’d even managed to steal her own personal ship from a man she killed, not out of contract but because she wanted his ship.
