DESCRIPTION
Kiva carries a pair of sabers that allow her to swap between a two-handed style and dual-wielding, dependent on the situation she finds herself in. While each blade uses a Ghostfire crystal as the focusing crystal, dual-phase blades, Tràkata toggles, and a bifurcating cyclic-ignition pulse construction, they are otherwise completely dissimilar in capability.

• Her first blade combines a primary Dantari crystal to assist with recovering spent energies and a Stygium secondary said to augment a Force user’s powers in staying undetected.
• The second blade employs a Naami crystal alongside an Ignitious crystal to create an intense yet unstable blade that burns anything it touches while enhancing the strength of Kiva’s Force powers, channeled rage, and lightning.

Both lightsabers benefit from the Ghostfire focusing crystals in that the blades make little noise even in a clash and leave behind confusing after images that can hide the dim translucent blade’s true location. Kiva uses the effect in conjunction with the dual-phased nature of the blades to disorient and surprise her opponents.

Kivah was particularly meticulous with the preparation and construction of her sabers. Sourcing the crystals she needed alone took months of effort while she planned out the arrangement of crystals for best effect. A task of utmost importance to her as they’d be supporting her fluid change between fighting styles and techniques. Primarily switching from stealth to brutal attacks while alternating between one and two-handed techniques. Although the two hilts are near identical, the Cathar can easily distinguish between the two no matter the situation, from how the crystals feel to her in the Force and the small engravings near the pommel. Wrapping each hilt is a band of Tuk’ata leather from the beast she killed during her Kor’ethyr initiation trial.
