- Glorious Miralukese Plasma, Folded 1000 Times: The presence of a specialized cutting emitter that focuses the plasma of the blade strongly along with the already high cutting potential of the hurrikaine crystal that forms the heart of this blade, this lightsaber's cutting potential is magnified to the point of being more effective at cutting through even lightsaber resistant materials. This results in the degradation or failure of armor and weapons that come into contact with it more rapidly.
- The Usual Suspects: Although the blade will do more damage to cortosis implements when it impacts them, they will none the less still short the blade temporarily. As per the average lightsaber it also will not function when submerged underwater.
- One mode - Kill: The hurrikaine crystal is ferocious enough that adding a dampening function to the emitter would still fail to render it into a safe training implement or non-lethal device. Even if dampened, the blade would still produce serious injuries.
As every padawan, Kisaku was required to construct his own lightsaber on his journey to apprenticeship. They say that the crystal chooses the Jedi more so than the Jedi the crystal. During his pilgrimage to construct his lightsaber as the first task he was ever entrusted to carry out outside of the temple, Kisaku found that to be true. Being blind to most technology, navigating farther than the taxi speeder that took him to the spaceport was far more difficult than he'd anticipated. Rather than finding himself on the flight to Ilum, he trusted the Force to guide him to his destination and it took him off of the beaten path. He ended up very convinced that he was meant to be aboard a survey vessel headed for the planet of Hurikane. Thankfully the Alliance contracted census specialists were rather accommodating to the strange request. After a visit to the planet itself Kisaku returned with the crystal at long last, constructing the lightsaber in full at the temple with the Force taking him in a fey mood of creation.
