STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES

:

+ Combat savant: For all of her faults (to which there are many), Kirieth has an outstanding amount of potential in armed combat. She can take to a lightsaber form like a fish in water, and even add a few tricks of her own to catch others off guard. It didn’t help her when she deviated a bit during form training, however. She’s also a rather deft hand with blasters, or at least, one-handed ones. She is capable of copying others, to a certain extent.

+ Battle Serenity: Kirieth may not be all there, but sometimes it works in her favour. She sees and feels combat as more something to enjoy, and in fact finds it relaxing (unless she actually gets mortally wounded). She is more than capable of using forms such as Juyo without succumbing to the tempting influence of her emotions. This allows her to also take more aggressive and fast manoeuvres more akin to Dark Side practitioners. Of course, this would be a detriment if she actually WANTED to fuel her attacks with her emotions.

-
+ Attention Deficit Kirieth isn’t… The best at keeping attention to one thing for too long. Her brain starts to wander or even “turn off” during particularly long hours of study, making her a rather bad student when it comes to force powers. However, she doesn’t find it hard at all to keep track of multiple things in the short term, making her particularly good at fighting multiple opponents by switching her brain off and going into full instinctual mode, while keeping track of each of them. This also helps her in matters of high-speed vehicles, but not by much.

- Unlucky: Kirieth doesn’t have the best of luck, it appears. When something may go wrong and it does, it’s usually her who pays the price. A blaster goes off? At best she’s hoping for a singed tunic. One animal among many goes frenzied? It’s often hers. Almost always the one to get the short straw, and the most likely to be in any kind of splash zone. To win against her in gambling is no great feat.

- Medicore Force User: Due to her inability to keep attention, her knowledge of the force is sorely lacking. She’s at best able to use it to enhance her physical abilities through instinct, such as force speed, but her force pushes aren’t exactly the best in the world. Just about the worst opponent she can fight is someone who uses solely the Force.

- Naive: Not only is she naïve, but also rather gullible. She’d believe almost anyone over anything unless it was so obviously false that even she could see through it. That isn’t to say she’s dumb, but she often lacks judgement for her actions unless she’s made to fully think about it. Furthermore, this seems to be erased while in her battle focus. For example, she’ll believe someone if they said apples are full of toxins and would made her ill if eaten and argue its case to others, but if someone she was fighting against told her to look behind her, she’d be rightfully suspicious.

APPEARANCE:

Kirieth is a young adult human female. She has long, glossy and curly brown hair that sometimes obscures at least one of her eyes, it flows down beyond her shoulders, with a section of it at the back being turned into a braid that lies along her neck. She has long, thin and straight eyebrows that rise at the upper bridge of her nose, and lowers a little to the side of her head. She has long, pronounced eyelashes and dark grey-ish green eyes. She has a slightly upturned but otherwise straight nose. Her lips are generally a healthy pink, and are a little bit plump.

Standing at just under six feet, Kirieth has a rather healthy body. She has wide shoulders and normal length arms that although don’t have much in the way of muscle definition, are still strong by the muscle underneath the fatty layer. She has an unfortunate abundance in the bosom area, which is often the source of much discomfort to Kirieth, mostly in the way of her back, thus necessitating her to wear supportive and suppressive underclothing on top of the cloths given to her by the Jedi Order. Her waist is rather narrow, especially while being ‘twixt her shoulders and hips, both of which blossom out extensively to match each other in width. Her legs are much in the same way as her arms, albeit more thick set.

Clothing-wise, Kirieth wears two sets of clothing. On the outer layer, she wears the standard long jedi robes. On the inner layer, she makes use of a tunic and trousers. This is mainly due to practicality, as she doesn’t like the long sleeves of the robes hindering her when fighting.

BIOGRAPHY:

-Kirieth was born on an agricultural planet, her mother and father were both farmers. She inherited her mother’s short attention span. Sadly, bad luck ran in the family, and she was found to have a midi-chlorian count large enough to become a Jedi youngling, and thus, after only a year of a united family, she was whisked away for training. Her mother and father had always wanted to have a child, so they tried again and got quadruplets.

-As Kireth grew up her prospects were… Not all that great. Her teachers found she had a rather short attention span, and lacked in her studies. Meanwhile, she often deviated in lightsaber combat to win when sparring with others. She wasn’t the most respected, even among younglings, who often found it fun to see just how gullible she could be.

-It took much, much hard work and self-discipline to get her to even stay in the regular Lightsaber Forms. Eventually however, she was able to spread her wings a little and try out the other forms, once the principles were hammered into her. With her force studies, however, she continued to lag behind. By the time she grew of age to construct a lightsaber, she barely scooted into the low adequate range.

-She soon joined the Gathering to construct her own lightsaber. She heard from another Youngling that the lightsabers require two kyber crystals and believe him. Therefore, she picked a somewhat different lightsaber that was somewhat longer and was confused when others picked their clunkier looking ones, wondering where they fit the crystals. They also mentioned that pink was often looked favourably upon. However, she also noticed most other people picked blue and green. Thus, there was a conflict within her when activating the crystals, and instead of blue or pink, she got both. There was much ridicule.

-She became a Padawan to the Jedi Knight Pongle Gruul, a gamorrean who was mostly just impressed by her skill with a lightsaber. He’d be often frustrated by her gullibility, but she often made up for it by her combat form. For a few long years, she was trained. Though the peacekeeping ways of the Jedi that he was often chafed Pongle, he kept true as per his teachings right up until he finally snapped and became a fallen Jedi, mostly due to Kirieth continuously getting into trouble. He hit his breaking point and went rogue, thus causing Kirieth to find she had no master. She thus returned to the Jedi Temple with incomplete training, and await a new master.

EQUIPMENT:

Kirieth’s Lightsaber Kirieth’s lightsaber handle is of a thinner, sleek design but is slightly longer, allowing her to use it as both a one-hand or two handed weapon. After its creation, Kirieth added a rubber grip, allowing it to be easier on the hands and harder to disarm through (physical) force. Furthermore, she added a sneaky spike at the end, allowing her for quick enhanced hilt attacks. There was an “accident” in its creation, and there are two kyber crystals in its focusing lens, sometimes it flutters blue, sometimes pink.
