SPECIAL FEATURES
- Command Pit: Navicomputer, flight control, communications and a lot of the brains of the ship route here. Tactical controls, for weapons and shields are also here in the pit of the ship.
- Medical Bay: Fits seven beds and an office for the doctor, a small nurse’s desk is crammed somewhere in the bay. Cabinets are stuffed with supplies ready for the rush of the battle.
- Preservation: Four cyrobeds to hold the critically wounded until they can reach a proper hospital or hospital ship.
- Gun Controls: After getting coordinates from the pit, gun crews work to turn the guns and fire them as needed. Work turbolasers, ion cannons and mass driver cannons takes work and you’ll find the crew working to turn and fire when ready.
- Weapons Shop: What’s a Mandalorian without their weapon? The weapons shop is an onboard place where the crew can make and repair their weapons. It’s no forge but it’ll do the job until they can find one.
- Engineering: It keeps the ship going, if the pit is the brain of the ship the engineering is the heart. This is what keeps the Kirehe going, engineers work around the clock to keep their frigate going.
- Airlock: Houses suits and of course (the lovely airlock) where engineers suit up and repair the armor when they can (when the ship is out of combat).
- Cabins: Where many of the crew sleep and relax, the Captain has their own room but the rest of the crew sleep six - eight per cabin. Sharing a joined latrine with another cabin, privacy is a commodity here.
- Galley/Mess: Food to feed the hungry crew is served here, warm meals to help them feel good. Cold beverages and songs are often served and sung as they talk about the old days and look ahead to the future.
- Armour Shop: Repairing Beskar’gam or other armour, creating armour all of it happens here and it’s located next to the Weapon’s Shop.
- Armoury: Houses weapons both ranged and melee as well as armour and personal shields, there are several of these located throughout the ship.

Strengths:
[+] Disruption: Armed with disruptor torpedoes, the Kirehe is ready to disable enemy shields and rip through with her heavy turbolasers.
[+] Leech: Her shield leech works wonders, for her. The Kirehe is able leech onto enemy shields and heal her own for a brief period of time (thirty seconds).
[-] Slow: She’s slow and not nearly as manoeuvrable as others in her class making her a prime target for faster attack craft, and auxiliary vessels.
[-] Degradation: Her ablative armour has a degradation rate, and must be cared for frequently. The Kirehe is almost always under the watchful eye of her engineers who worry not just for the engines but whether or not they’ll need to suit up and work on the armor.
[-] Rate of Fire: The frigate’s rate of fire is slower than most of her class, there are no rapid firing guns here. Each shot must be aligned precisely, so her gunners need to be the best otherwise the vessel will flounder before it can flourish.
Amaya Verd knew that the Mandalorian fleet, rather their flotilla could use some new blood. More importantly blood with teeth, her hybrid gunship/dropship while it could perform both roles it would not do one or the other with any grace as it were. So she pushed herself away from the project and turned to the Kirehe, a heavy frigate in almost every sense of the word. Slow and cumbersome, yet it would be beautiful and carry with it the spirit of a nomadic warrior people.
Built to cut through enemies on the ground, built to take from others to heal itself. The Kirehe is a rather crude yet effective ship at doing one particular job. Lowering the opponent's shields one way or another. Equipped with mass driver cannons, this heavy frigate doesn’t mess around even with her slow rate of fire - the Kirehe makes every shot count.
Given that HVHAR has just started to grow this particular model of ship, was pushed into limited production until more funding can be found. As it is, the Kirehe is the most expensive build to date and Amaya suspects there will be builds that will cost more but for now, the heavy frigate will perform the role of bombardment and shield disruption just fine.
