- After Kaiya had left Nar Shaddaa, she had found that the galaxy was a far crueler place than even the shadows and alleyways of Nar Shaddaa where all of the filth of the galaxy had been. She realized that she'd need more than just her 'old' and beat-up weapons that she had scavenged from Nar Shadaa. Kaiya would need something that would pack more of a punch. She wouldn't be able to rely on outdated tech, well outdated compared to the rest of the galaxy that is. Kaiya wanted something that she could more easily defend herself with, instead of relying on stuff that could be so easily cut down like was proven in her attempted mugging of Xiarr Sair, needless to say...it didn't really end in her favor per say. It was more of a draw. The King's Bane is Kaiya's first attempt, assisted by Xiarr, to make something that she can at the very least, defend herself with. Xiarr helped her with making the gun and putting it all together to be a deadly contraption. Well, Xiarr did most of the work. Kaiya tried her best to help him, though she wasn't necessarily the best at making stuff, and that's putting it lightly. Though it did work in the end, despite Kaiya tinkering with it some.
