King of the dust Hill (Mandalorians vs Sith)

He saw the fist come flying toward his cracked mask, but he was already one step ahead. The Force gave those touched deeply by it an edge over their lesser opponents. The Mandalorians attempted to make up for this fault with their superior technology, their armour and weapons, and their sheer warrior cunning. But like everything else, it was no match for the Force. Darth Avara caught her wrist in his gauntlet, proceeding to release a shocking electrical current down her body as she stood there in full plate. He made sure she could not move before he executed his masterpiece. With a circular motion of his lightsaber, he attempted a mou kei, the simultaneous amputation of all four of her limbs, before he turned and threw her into the path of the charging droid.

Tracyn's body was picked up before he back flipped through the air toward his ship, away from the Mandalorian who had tried in vain to rescue the Mandalorian sniper. In the end, it was futile, Avara had come for what he wanted. The Mandalorians believed Ordo was dead, and that is how Avara would keep it.

Kila screamed in pain as the electricity coursed down her arm and into her body, and again as the lightsaber sliced off her right arm at the elbow - the other limbs were protected by her beskar armor - leaving Masky holding her forearm. Whatever last vestiges of energy remained in the Rally Master vanished as she slumped to the ground, utterly beaten and exhausted.

But she still had a knife. While she would no longer take the fight to him, she would defend herself as best she could through the haze of red pain that clouded her vision.

He felt the pain that the Mandalorian was feeling when he saw the blue flash of the force lightning from the figure that was his Master, Darth Avara. And when he looked up he saw his Infiltrator flying overhead, it was going to be quick, he force leaped into the air, letting the Force carry him through the air. He knew based upon his angle he wasn't going to make it inside of the ship, he figured his own Master would notice him going past him from behind.

It would have to be quick however, and he was quite a dead weight, there were quite a few blaster burns within his armour from the Mandalorian's fire. He saw the droid below with it's master, and the Mandalorian girl his Master had absolutely destroyed, and he waited for the inevitable pull that his Master would no doubt perform on him.

He saw the maimed body of the Mandalorian sniper as his ship began to take off, commanded through auto-pilot to leave Dromund Kaas. The battle still raged overhead, and Avara had no purpose here anymore, save for one. His apprentice was caught in a battle of his own, and saw him dart toward the Infiltrator as it took off through the air. With a mighty leap aided by the Force, he threw himself toward the ship. Darth Avara knew he would never make it, and if he didn't, he would be doomed to suffer at the hands of the Mandalorians.

With a quick flick of his hand, he drew his apprentice to his hand with the Force, ensuring he made it aboard. He came to without little effort, and Avara shut the ramp of the Sith infiltrator as it thundered across the skies of Dromund Kaas.

Balaya looked on and sneered, rising from the throne as she moved. "What the hell is happening." She watched as the one ship broke formations and sneered. "They're running, fire upon it. We have no room for cowards." Her face turned to see Eruna and she clenched her hand at that, the attack was going something as reports of damage and being nearly surrounded on all sides came and she moved to look at the larger hologram display. Her face contorting a little before. "Tighten formation and and all troopers ready, prepare for borders. We'll meet them in the trooper legions in a wall of blaster fire. All wardroids have them activated and covering the hulls. Repel boarding parties."

Her face kept going while the lead ships in the formation her eyes drifting to Eruna as she spoke. "Eruna stay here and get ready, with the Republic fleet here now we might need to exit. THe haunter can hold the two or us as needed." The siths fingers went to her tac-pad as she spoke. "Send all of the apotheosis's command codes to me, I want full control of the systems from here. Prep a silent countdown to be activated on my command of self destruct. I'd rather see this in chaos then a mongrals hands. Launch the rest of the fighters and everything attack the mandalorians fleet. Full salvo's."

Tyrana was a bit surprised by her master's order, yet understood given the growing situation. She brought her fighter back towards the ship while saying "Understood, master. She boarded while waiting in the TIE fighter. R7 beeped to her and she responded with "Master Balaya wanted us here so we're here." He beeped more. "I don't know but obliviously she thinks this won't go well." More beeping. "So do I, R7. But we have orders and we'll do them." He gave one final round of beeps before both were silent.

Davin brought his formation around to the outskirts of the battle and took stock. He'd lost half of Sabre flight and three from Dagger flight. Fortunately, not a single bomber from Mace flight was destroyed though they needed a few moments to regenerate their shields from the AA they'd taken from their runs. So far they'd destroyed two frigates and successfully ccrippled an assault carrier. Davin looked at the enemy fleet and noticed several flashing between blue and red indicating that those Sith ships had been boarded. He also noticed one that was breaking formation. It was sqwaking a solid blue indicating that it had been successfully taken by his vode. Davin grinned at the thought of how much it must piss off the Sith having one of their ships stolen by his vode. Davin looked around for another target to take on though the battle was clearly going their way though his mentor had taught him that the tide of battle was very unpredictable and could swing the other way at a moment's notice. Still with the fight in space going well, Davin decided it was time to see how the fight on the ground was going. He ordered his fighters and bombers into a V-formation and began a quick descent into the atmosphere to see how the battle on the ground was going.

((OOC: Sorry about that. I guess I got a little carried away with my last post. I'll try to keep a little tighter rein nect time. :) ))

Capital ship firepower from the huge triangular ships -- pointed entirely in the other direction -- slammed against the Imperator's shields. Under covering fire from the Mandalorians, Ember jumped the ship to hyperspace.

Kila Cadau

Mando Rally Master (With a metal kneecap)
The Sith were gone, and even if they weren't, Kila would no longer be able to do anything to defend herself. Her remaining fist, which had been groping dully for the knife @[member="Ordo"] had given her during the Dark Harvest mess, relaxed and the knife clattered out of her grip. She clawed for consciousness for a few moments, then submitted to the blackness enroaching around the edge of her vision. Not death, just unconsciousness.

Ordo finished his last attack run as he saw his little sister collapse.

"NOOO!" He yelled as he made a hasty landing.

The big angry Mando popped the fighters hatch unsheathed his beskad and Mandalorian ripper.

He rushed to his Vod and took position between her and the Sith.

"Git." He said as a firestorm raged in his gut. @[member="Kila Cadau"] was family and you don't hurt Ordo's family.

"Damn, damn, damn!" he muttered under his breath as he searched coms for a nearby LAAT coming in for wounded. <Hey, hey! Anyone on? We've got a Rally Master hurt pretty bad down here!!> He had to shout over the wind as Hobbes ran boosted towards the wounded Mando. Looking down at Ordo from his metal beast he spoke again, giving coordinates over a com. <Someone'll be here soon.> Reaching into the medkit stored on the metal beast he tossed him a kolcta geltab and tossed it to the large Mandalorian. <Here, get her arm, find something to get that armor off it, I don't care if you have to blast it open.> He spoke quickly in Mando'a as he went over the directions for the tab in his head as well as his basic first aid knowledge. He didn't know the man's rank, nor did he care at the moment, and he could tell that the large Mandalorian wouldn't either as he seemed pretty attached, maybe a relative?

Jumping down from the beast he jogged over to her, turning her on her side. He flinched as he saw more blood pour from her wounds when he turned her over. Cursing under his breath he searched for the maglock that kept her armor together in one piece. They needed to get this off and the geltab applied quickly to have any chance of saving the severed arm. With a satisfying zapp-snap the maglock disengaged, creating a gap for Davin to crack the shell open.

The armor fell to the side with a thump. Taking out his combat knife he cut open her flight suit on the arm that had been severed, cutting up to her shoulder and ripping the material off. Taking another geltab he applied it to the wound gingerly before turning her back on her back. Removing the woman's helmet, he placed it on the ground next to her and looked up to the sky and then back to Ordo, his blue visor staring.

Ordo bent down and picked up his little Vod. @[member="Kila Cadau"]
"Good Work, Ner Vod." Ordo said to the man as he turned and started carrying Kila undercover.
Within a few minutes the real med team was there and Ordo lay his friend on the gurney and watched the Med team carry her away for treatment.
Ordo didn't see any more use for him on the ground and double timed back to his fighter. He was getting tired of this Osik.

They slowly made their way through the ship and up towards the bridge. It was tough going, but they were making headway despite the numbers of enemies and the close confines of the ship. As they reached a critical junction of the ship, Betna called a brief halt.

His boys and girls set up a perimeter and took stock of their surroundings while checking their gear over. Betna sat back and thought for a moment. From his commlink's chatter, the fight was still ongoing and far from over, though the victor was slowly becoming realized. The Sith flagship, however, was still going strong. That had to stop immediately. Arrbi popped on the comms for the boarding parties throughout the ship and called a check in.

So few returned a status that it shocked Betna. While casualties on board had been minimal, the loss of life just boarding the ship was tremendous. They'd been bled dry before they even had boots on the decking. From the progress reports of each boarding crew, however, he knew they'd been paying that back in the blood of the Sith. Gritting his teeth, he commed through the 'link.

"Grozzura, take a squad and head to the hyperdrive. Shut it down completely. Turn it off, take it apart, pull the plug, I don't care, but shut it the shab down," he told the giant Mandalorian through his comms. He then turned to the smallest of the Mandos. "Milo, see if you can slice in and power down the reactor or reactors. I don't know how many there are, but shut them down. Overload the relays running from them to the ship if you have to. If it's anything like some of the small ships I've flown, maybe fluctuating the shields will overload them and cause an emergency shut down. You know, maximize and minimize the power to the shields on a rapid cycle. Kinda like a Spice addict playing with a light switch. Once done, secure the reactors. I'm giving you a squad as well. Hop to it."

Grozurra and his squad had been setting explosives on elevator doors when new orders came through. He and his men had been carving a bloody path towards what felt to Grozurra like it could be the bridge. But now they were to make their way to the Hyperdrive and disable it.

Growling slightly in displeasure at possibly missing out on fighting a Sith, Grozurra pried open an elevator door with his two massive arms and looked down the empty shaft. He and his squad would have to descend several floors before they could start working their way towards the Hyperdrive. The question, though, was how many floors they would have to travel before they were on the right one. To find the answer, Grozurra stood as a silent and immobile statue and closed his eyes. The men and women that surrounded him likewise stood silently as they waited for instructions and kept their weapons trained on the dark corridors that surrounded them.

In the dark and quiet of his mind, Grozurra slowly extended his senses. He was aware of himself. His fur. His heavy armor. The wires and electricity and moving parts of it shone in his mind like a beacon. Every part of himself was known and understood. Slowly he extended his awareness outwards. First one of his brothers, then another and another entered into his awareness. They, their bilology, and their armor and weapons all shone like beacons in Grozurra's mind.

His awareness spread outwards in all directions at first. Slowly extending to cover meter after meter of warship. Every deck, every wall, every droid, soldier, and pest was a beacon in Grozurra's consciousness. But then he began directing his awareness down the elevator shaft. Floor after floor after floor passed by as his awareness reached downwards in its search. Eventually, several massive pipes entered his awareness and the wookiee knew that he had found something. Slowly following the pipes, Grozurra found the beating heart of the Star Destroyer. The raging inferno of the ship's reactor burned brightly in Grozurra's mind. It was like staring into the sun. It was warm and beautiful and Grozurra wished only to bask in it, but he had a mission to accomplish.

Grozurra's mind turned away from the engines and followed the pipes that had led him to it. After a few moment, the massive hyperdrive engine rested firmly in his awareness. Smiling slightly, Grozurra slowly brought his awareness back to himself and made a note of every door, hallway, trap, droid, and soldier that stoop between himself and his goal. The wookiee growled his language into his helmet and the software in his helmet broadcast a different voice to the internal communicators of his squad mates. In the hollow and robotic voice of a droid, Grozurra said to his squad "Follow me. Double-time to the Hyperdrive."

Grozurra then turned and backed into the elevator shaft. He fell like the half-ton stone that he was. But between the rocket thrusters in his boots and the repulsor pack and repulsor stabilizers that adorned other areas of his armor, Grozurra was able to slow himself enough to force his armored hand through the elevator door when he reached the correct floor. Slowly, he grabbed the two doors with both hands and pried them apart. His men landed behind him as he stepped forward from the elevator with his weapon drawn and ready. He knew that there were no crew or soldiers waiting for them here. But still he kept his weapon ready.

His senses extended ahead of himself and down the hallways that eventually connected to the Hyperdrive. There were soldiers here and there. But he knew their locations and knew the terrain that surrounded them. A feral smile played across his lips as he took off towards the Hyperdrive at a dead sprint. The men and women of his squad did likewise. Some of which resorting to repulsors and thrusters to keep up with the massive gate of their wookiee sergeant.

Milo's little portion of the ship had been pretty calm for the last several minutes. He'd only had to kill two enemy combatants while waiting next to the remote access port for fresh orders.
Milo hear his orders come over the comm and got to work right away. Then he stopped. Did his commanding officer really think he could lead anyone into combat to take a part of the ship?
Was he that desperate?
No matter first he'd have to see to those reactors. His squad arrived just after he had gained access to the reactor controls. He paid them no mind and didn't even let them know he knew that they were there, not while he was still trying to shut the reactors down.
The first one went down easy.
The second one had to be overtaxed before it shut itself down. Milo forced it to send all it's power to a few turrets at the nose of the ship, burning out both the turrets and the reactor.
The third and final reactor had been locked out of remote access. Buried in the rear of the ship just in front of the engines it would be hard to get to. Milo had already copied the ship specs into his helmet and was ready to go get the job done.
Unplugging from the access point Milo turned to acknowledge his squad for the first time. *Don't let them know you have no idea what you're doing Milo just keep it together.*
"Alright Troops we have a reactor to disable." Milo said with all the confidence that he could muster. " I'm sending our route to your HUDs. I want a tight formation the whole way there. And I don't want any enemy that sees us to see anything else.... Ever." Milo had been at the mercy of the sith before and was channeling that rage now. Now it was time for a little pay back. "Lets move out."
Milo took off at a sprint ahead of his men (he liked the sound of that) towards his goal. In moments he was in the rear of the squad with four behind him and six ahead of him. It was clear that they would follow him with honor but also just as clear that they didn't really think he could hold his own either.

Betna nodded at the responses from his orders and signaled his men to move out. While the reactor was important and the hyperdrive equally so, there was one more spot that needed to be dealt with.

His team reached the turbo lift and he quickly overrode the panel. It was relatively simple, really. Override the security protocols with a few power surges to disable them, then move on to the door and lift commands. A quick swap in programming and a simple reset of the passcodes meant that anyone could now use the turbo lift. It didn't keep anyone from tampering with it further and it was the equivalent of using an electronic sledgehammer, but it worked.

The Mandos and Betna loaded into the lift and prepped for combat as the doors closed. Betna made sure his weapons and gear were ready to go before keying the commlink to the boarding parties.

"All teams, all Mando'ade, continued pushing and securing the ship. Once done, move to reinforce my team in securing the bridge."

@Arribi Betna @Grozurra

Milo hear the orders over his helmet com, as did the rest of his squad.
As they worked their way down to the remaining active reactor Milo's squad cut through the enemy with seeming ease. It must be the training he thought he would have to see about getting some more combat skills. At least so far he'd not had to even fire his weapon since the squad was given to him.
After a few corridors they came to the elevator shaft that they needed. After taking it down a few levels it ground to a halt. The floor below them had to have been badly damaged. "We need to get out of this tin can." Milo tried to get the elevator to go back up to the previous level but it was jammed.
"Any one got anything that can get us out of this trap?"
" I think that we can get out of this sir. Lets get this door open men." One trooper Snapped out the order before directing the men more closely.

While they used their repelling gear to give them the leverage to pry the doors open Milo checked the levels of fluids left in his suit. If the bacta pouches ran out he would become very useless very fast.

"Alright Sir Doors are open. The corridor is clear. How do you want to proceed to the reactor?"
" I'll have to find another remote access point before I'll know exactly how to get down there but until then we'll just have to keep fighting deeper into the ship and into to lower levels"
Three levels down and the resistance got thick fast. Three troopers down in seconds.
" We need to get into one of these side control rooms! We'll be able to hold them off!"
"Sir yes Sir"
After dragging the few of the injured soldiers into the side room the casualties of Milo's team stopped and the death toll began to get paid back to the enemy with interest.

While his men held the door Milo began to hack into remote access system on this level. It was going to take awhile to get past all the broken connections.
