Killing an Exarch

Naboo was a world filled to the brim with wealth, tourism, and the spices of life that most people in the galaxy could dream of. It was by all accounts a paradise world, a planet where hardly anyone suffered and most never knew the sting of war or battle. By all accounts Naboo was peaceful, its chief export being wine and its sheer wealth, and its greatest imports being massive amounts of processed foods that the rich royals so enjoyed.

In one of the many containers of processed and synthetic foods within one of the massive Hangars of the capital city of Theed sat a person. This person seemed none to pleased by being in the contained, his body being squished between thick boxes and a heavy metal wall. The person of course was an assassin. An alien an assassin dressed in light black robes with head tails and montrals wrapped to keep their shine from drawing attention. The Assassin was a Sith known as Vash, a man gifted in the arts of murder.

Vash sat within the container for some hours after its arrival, patiently waiting for his chrono to tick to night time. When the peak of night finally arrived upon the City of Theed Vash made his move.

With a simple trick of the force Vash unlocked the door of the cargo container from the inside out, nudging the lock out of place and forcing open the large door with a hushed squeak. The Togruta stepped out from his hiding place, already cloaked in the shadows of the night. Slowly and with great care he closed the door behind him, moving swiftly and silently. At a sprint he took off towards the hangar's main wall, hugging it closely one he arrived. With carefully measured steps Vash began to hurry towards the hangars exit.

He moved swiftly, like a man with purpose. After all he had an Exarch to kill.

Vash moved through the night as though he and the dark had become one. At certain points he cloaked himself in the force, bending the moonlight around himself and rendering his black cloaks completely and entirely invisible. Each time he moved across a large street or a path he did this, making sure to a void all cameras and guards.

A few times he had a close call. Once was with a group of intoxicated women walking home along the street. They seemed to be absolutely silent, stumbling down the paved road until one of them tumbled over while wearing her high heels, this caused the rest of the women to let out a loud screeching laughter. In the suddenness of it all Vash had been startled, nearly exposing himself to a nearby guard who had come running to check on the women. The second time had been when he had crossed the high wall to the Exarch's Palace.

As he had used the force to bound onto the wall and over it a droid had caught a glimpse of his black robe. Though the thing had quickly come to investigate Vash had managed to elude it by quickly cloaking himself in the force.

The final almost discovery Vash had run into had been with a royal guard. The man had seen Vash's Lekku, glimpsing the head tails as Vash had whirled around a corner. The man had immediately followed the strange sight and had been met with a blade to the sternum. The steel had been covered with poison from an Amphtistaff. The man's death had been quick and utterly soundless.

With each near miss Vash kept moving faster, knowing that dinner would be served to the Exarch soon.

He moved closer and closer to the Palace's kitchen, his steps making no noise as he moved from hallway to hallway and hid behind pillars. The Togruta blended seamlessly with his surroundings, as if he were the shadows themselves. Quickly with an added boost of the force Vash bounded from one pillar to another, narrowly avoiding detection by a guard. He stood still for a few seconds, not moving as another palace guard walked by him.

Vash wondered for a few moments how much these guards were paid. So far they had not done their job very well, one had died and the other had completely missed Vash as he sprinted through the palace.

The Togruta simply shrugged, and then stepped up behind the guard that had just passed him. A blade flew across the guards throat, and the same poison that he had used on the other man took effect on this one. There was a slight gurgling noise for a few seconds as the man died and Vash simply let him drop to the floor. Vash looked at the dead man, and then let out a sigh. He grabbed him and dragged him behind a pillar, hiding him.

The Death of a few of the guards was necessary for the plan to work, killing just the Exarch would not be enough of a message.

Quickly Vash moved on, hugging the walls of the dark hallways and concealing himself from the Cameras when necessary.

Vash moved faster now, his footsteps light as a feather fall as he moved to one of the hundreds of balconies found within the palace of Theed. He quickly bounded over the edge of the balcony, grappling onto the side of it and swiftly moving onto the wall. He climbed like a lizard, using any and every foothold he could find to pull himself ever upwards on the wall. Vash had been a fan of climbing since childhood, he enjoyed crawling up tree's scaling cliff's, and rushing up anything else he could. It was what made him an excellent assassin.

He was fast, quick, and agile, everything good that an assassin needed in order to succeed. After only a few minutes Vash found himself below the top floor of the Palace, where the dining hall, main rooms, and bedrooms would be found.

The Sith Assassin pulled himself into the main hallway, slipping into the shadows like a ghost.

Vash cloaked himself within the force, rendering himself invisible to sight. Quickly he moved through the main hall, finding the dining hall rather quickly. He smiled slightly, and noted that the dining table had already been set. Food would be delivered after wards.

Slowly Vash crept over to the table itself, standing at the head of it. From his robes he pulled a small vile. He sprayed the vile of liquid onto the silverware at the Exarch's seat, grinning slightly as he did so. Amphistaf venom was delightful.

The Sith disappeared once again into the darkness, and moved quickly out of the room as he heard voices come his way.
