Diana sat in the middle of a small courtyard on Corellia, her legs crossed and a datapad cradled in her lap. She was reading, much like she had within the Jedi Temple on Tython. She was no different now than she had been then. The passage of a few weeks and the slaying of a Sith Lord hadn't changed Diana in the least. She considered this a good thing, and there was a soft smile on her face as she kept on reading.
The Silent Conclave had turned out to be the perfect place for her. The Master of this particular order had proven to be quite the kind man. Jaxton Ravos, the pink Zeltron who had taken Diana off the street just days after her leaving the Jedi Order. He had fed her, given her clothes, and even found her work. Beyond that however he had supplied something further, something she had sorely missed even after only a few days. He had given her a feeling of belonging, and so had the rest of the conclave.
The Truth was that Diana felt at home again, she felt safe. Though she had not even met a fraction of the other members of the Conclave Diana knew that they were all as close as the Jedi Order had been.
As her thoughts drifted more and more to family Diana thought of her own heritage. She was Kiffar, in fact she had been the only Kiffar in the order...or at least the only one she had met...or even heard of for that matter. It seemed that her species was rather rare, though perhaps she had just never looked hard enough. Diana made a small mental note to herself to visit Kiffu her homeworld. She had never even thought of the planet before, but now having left the Jedi Order...it seemed the right thing to do.
She sighed slightly, and then continued reading her book.
