Kick the sand off our Boots and lets dance

On tantooine once would wonder why such a place like this would be such a good place for one to be at even so business was business. AFter all even this place needed its fill of imported drinks. That was something that she could help with for a price.

Even so she could feel herself slip on some of her compete stuff after all she needed to know what she was up against.

Gray had come to the one of the most sand filled planets in the galaxy, Jakku Tatooine. He hated it here so much. The sand, the heat, the wind. The only thing he liked about this planet was the Jawa, and that was about it. Those little guys were just too much fun. They worked so hard scavenging for parts, repairing stuff, and then selling what they repaired. They would run off behind cover whenever there was trouble... kind of like the situation Gray found himself in right now.

Gray had come into the local cantina to get a drink as he waited on that cousin of his to show up. He had a job to hunt down a dragon or some other big creature. He wanted the parts from it to make some gear, and Gray had decided to come to do his part helping out family. He was about to walk into the cantina when some big oaf had started to bully a poor Jawa. The jawa ran behind Gray, so he did his part to try and smooth the situation out. The oaf didn't want to smooth things out though. How did Gray know this? Well he got punched in the face instead of a verbal reply, so Gray sent the guy flying through the cantina doorway and into one of the tables. He followed that up with a shot from his blaster pistol set on stun, and walked into the place over the big guys unconcious form.

Gray holstered his pistol and took off his helmet as he came up to the bar. He said, " I'll take a shot of whiskey if you have it. That guy said he would pay for it too. And anything the little one wants as well." Gray pointed down to the little jawa still hugging his leg as it stared around the rough crowd of cantina patrons.

Not able to tell where it came from or who had thrown the first punch. All she knew is that some how she ended up on her butt on the hard dirty floor. Out of her armor as she had been doing a business dealing. Either way it seem that one of her man had gotten out of hand. This time it had cause him to get stunned.

"Get that dumb scub out of here now," as the other two with him looked at her. They could both see that she wasn't one to want to get pissed. After watching them take him out. Knowing that she would really have to start picking these men herself then letting her father do it for her. Growing up no one likes to do it but with her what was her growing up.

Now for what she was to do replace that drink of hers. It was then her brightly eyes lock on the back of the one that stun. Come along side him to speak to the barkeeper. "I think I would like a replace, it seem that I had my drink taken by a broken table over there." as her eyes narrowed upon him.

Gray was waiting for his drink and the little jawa to order something when a woman walked up next to him. He listened to what she had to say and said, " Really? Sorry about that. Order whatever you like on me. Hate leaving a beautiful lady such as yourself feeling anything other than satisfied." He gave her a wink and a grin.

Gray was a little sad when his new jawa friend took off out of the bar in a panic when the woman showed up. He didn't know why it had, but figured it had something to do with the earlier fuss. He said as his shot of whiskey showed up, " So what is a fine example of feminine charm such as yourself doing in such a dusty planet as this one? And whats with the three geniuses you got with you?" He drank down his shot and added, " Oh and sorry for the one. Maybe next time he will use his words instead of his fist when someone is trying to be nice."

"You know which one I'll like to try.", as the barkeeper just nodded, before he went to work quickly. Waiting for the final touch the drink on hand. As he lite it on fire. Letting it burn before it put itself out. Just how it was put out would remain a mystery for now just like herself.

"Oh aren't you just charming, don't worry he had his teeth knocked out before by me.", as she just looked at him with a sweet twisted smirk on her face. One that told that there was much more to this one then meets the eyes. Those that was regulars already knew not to cross paths with this one.

"For why I'm here that my business, for now sugar." Even those she was quick with her eyes to look him over even so she couldn't help but play along with the small talk.

"What bring you to a place like this, its not for the sand is it.

Gray didn't pay much attention to her drink. He was too busy paying attention to the lovely figure in front of him. He saw she was trying to play coy and clever with him, which meant it was best to not pry too much. He had found out a few too many things he later regreted that way. Instead, he focused on her question. He just held onto the empty shot glass and twirled it around in circles a bit as he said, " I'm definitely not here for the sand. Hate the stuff. Gets into everything, goes everywhere, and then it is nearly impossible to get it all out again. Its almost as bad as those guys who cling to pretty ladies like you all the time. Not that I would know what that is like. I'm no pretty lady."

Gray was a little curious about this woman. She was working towards a mysterious atmosphere around herself, and it was honestly working. He couldn't tell if it was because she just wanted to be that way or because she needed to be that way. Depending on the answer, things could get very interesting and very dangerous. He set the shot glass back down and said, " So what does such a fine, firm thing like you do for fun around here? Try to see how many guys you can get to buy you a drink by just giving them a seductive wink? Hate to admit it, but from you that might work on me."

By now if one like him hadn't kept her interest she wouldn't have left or made them leave. What that happen its not a pretty sight after all its not how she works. Tapping the glass as she thought more deeply, just how she would answer a question back with maybe a question itself. "No your one that is baby face still wet behind the ear, no you stop feeding on your mother breast, long ago." as she lend forward. "You know how I can tell?" as she lend back in her chair. Leaving that for later on if she answered it at all.

"I don't play that way, if you want a woman like that I would say one of those wrenches over their be more to your liking." as she waved her hand over towards what look like to be ones that got paid very well for there serves. After which she let it sink in until she spoke once again. This time she took a sip of her warm drink that had a burn all the way down.

"Now if your looking for a fun time and drinking games, you might have found just that." as she let herself wait to see how he would respond to that.

Gray laughed at what she had to say. He kept it up for a few seconds and then stopped. He said as he got his breath back, " I never took you for one of those kinds of ladies. You have far too much real grace and dignity about you. They aren't my type either. I prefer a gal who is actually interested in what I'm saying, not what my credits are saying."

Gray ordered himself a second shot of whiskey before he added, " Now this fun time and drinking games thing. Please tell me more about them. You have my full attention on it my scarlet beauty." Gray set his helmet on the counter and smiled at her as he leaned against the bar. He hadn't expected to find someone interesting to talk to on this planet, especially before a job.

There he was lending against with his helmet down did she know just what kind of man she was dealing with. Answering that question fully to the fact that she would call herself a fool. In reality he keep her interest for the time being. Until something interest came up that she could see her doing on such a planet as this. For this she was grateful about him not wanting to waste his credits.

Getting closer to him now with a whisper, "Its a dangerous drinking game to be played its not for the weak ones, it does involved some skills with knifes." as she let her eyes now look at him but also she was watching his reaction to what she had just spoken of it being dangerous. As she let herself drain the last of her drink. Only to be met with a refill right way from the barkeeper that was keeping an eye on the two of them.

Before he spoke to them, "Please Miss Vel, don't run off my customers this time..you want your..." she cut him off before speaking about her whiskey that he was selling for her on this planet this could be the reason why so many had chosen this bar knowing their was a new shipment in form her company.

"I promise to clean up after myself and keep it to the back room this time so none will be stared. " as she look at him with a pleasing smile.

Gray smirked at her when she mentioned dangerous. She was talking to a guy in armor who had just thrown a big oaf through the door earlier. He was fine with a little dangerous. The conversation between her and the bar keep got his attention. So her name was Vel, or at least part of it was. He figured she didn't want him to know that though, because she would have mentioned it earlier otherwise. Best to keep that to himself then for now.

Gray said to her with that smirk still on his face, " Well any game with you Scarlet is worth a little danger. Plus, who doesn't like a little knife play now and then?"

His whiskey was finally brought to him after the barkeeper had finally settled down from his conversation with Miss Vel. Gray smiled and raised it a bit to the man. He took a drink out of, not downing the whole thing in one go this time, and said, " So where will we be playing our little game? And is there some kind of prize for winning?"

Giving a way to a grin finding herself getting up to lend the way. "Oh yes prize, well lets see we could play for money or is there something you had in mind." as she let herself wonder around the tables that had ones sitting at them. Finding them to the back opening up a door to a room that had seem its far share of action. Even so with the burnt marks and others marks or stains on the rooms walls. This didn't bother her at all, careful to leave the door open for her to know and see what was going on through out the place.

"I hope you don't mind." after all it wasn't like she wasn't dangerous with out guns, or weapons she had hers always on her. Even so she let herself trail her hands down her leg to her boots to pull out a couple of knifes that looking to be of throwing ability. Something very light quick and could be deadly in the right hands.

"Here,", waiting to hear his answer of what they are playing for, it really didn't matter to her or did it. As she couldn't help but look at him watch her even on the way back to the little room, that his eyes fall upon her not out of lust but it was a different sort of eyes ones she hardly sees these days. Did he really want to get to know the mystery of who she really was or why she was on this planet of all in the galaxy to be on.

Letting her hand him one of the knifes that she been caring in her boots. "Surprise are we, that someone of my liking would have something like this tuck away." as she wondering if he could guess that she had others hidden in waiting on other parts of her body if need to be.

Gray watched her swagger off to the room. He had to admit, the woman knew how to sway her hips. He could only guess how many knives she had on her though. He once knew a merc who could pull over twenty of the things out of seemingly no where when all they were wearing was a baggy pair of pants. He drank the last of his whiskey and set the shot glass down. He turned to the barkeep and said, " Mind tallying up my tab? Don't feel like keeping the pretty lady waiting."

Gray didn't wait for any kind of answer and instead went over to the room that Miss Vel went to. He took the knife from her and examined it. It had been awhile since he had held a throwing knife. He began to play with it to test out its balance. He said as he did, " What kind of prize would I like.... How about a kiss from the fiery beauty? If that feels like too much, I will settle for a nice smile." He smiled at her as he spoke and winked to her when he finished. He added after, " So what do you want if you win? Can't say I have much in the way of credits, but you don't seem like the type to play for them."

This only got her to going once more, "A kiss, mmm careful, this fiery beauty might do more then kiss she might just bite back." giving a widen grin, before a wink followed. If this one wanted to play so she would play back. Play with fire lets see if this one gets burnt. As she looked at him,

"What do I want if I win." as she looked at him up and down as if to say something her eyes toying with him a little bit before speaking. "Your right about the credits part," as she smirk about as she walked up closer to him. "I'll tell you what if I win, I let you take me out on an adventure." raising her own eyes. "Maybe one that don't have sand in it." as she started to chuckle a bit with him. Even so she couldn't help but have a dance about her eyes now as if she was tempting him, to want to spend more time then just this little bit throwing knifes.

Gray laughed a little at her wish in a prize. He didn't know what her idea of adventure was, but his idea of it could be more than she expected. He certainly was enjoying things right now. The playful back and forth was the mot fun of this little game he was playing with her right now. He didn't get to enjoy it enough though sadly, which was what was making right now so much better.

Gray smirked and said, " What kind of adventure are we talking about? Because if it is mine you might not like it. I'm the kind of guy who likes to jump out of moving ships into the middle of fights or onto another moving ship. I also enjoy the idea of sneaking onto an enemy ship to set up explosives to leave them derelict in open space. Also enjoy talking to pretty strangers that might be more than I could handle. So how does that sound to you? Or was your idea more along the lines of a nice candle lite dinner while I attempt to woe you through honeyed words and gentle touches?"

It was that dance of delight in her own eyes that shone something more to this one that meets the eyes. Even so she couldn't help but take on a wild grin. "What makes you think I don't like to do both, beside I'm just full of big surprises." couldn't help it could she this one was to easy to play with in a way that could only get her own little playfulness game to play.

"You think a pretty little thing like me would come to a planet like this if she couldn't handle herself or she had something more to her." after all she did look the part of a business lady. For now that all he needed to know, maybe later she would just surprise him being dress fully in her armor. Knowing that more and more it was becoming a part of who she was now days.

As she spoke she let the knife fly from her figures as if it had been one of them hitting a part of the wood stain up. "You don't mind a few warm up throws." as she wasn't just baiting him now but wanting to see what she would be dealing with after all just maybe she would want to play harder.

Gray smiled at her and said, " Well now, that is a real turn on Scarlet. A woman who is willing to run head first into the thick of danger is just about the sexiest thing possible. Be careful or you might just steal my heart right out from under me." He winked to her when he had finished talking. He was only half joking about what he said. Strong, independent women were a truly sexy thing to behold.

Gray held the throwing knife he lent him in his hand. He bounced it a bit between his fingers for a second before he suddenly threw it near her knife. He frowned a bit in disappointment. He smiled after a moment and said, " Seems I'm more rusty than I thought. Haven't thrown a knife in some time. I tend to just use my blaster here, especially since I don't own any throwing knives."

Couldn't help but give off a bit of a chuckle, as she walked up to pull them out at which time some of the wood splinter off. "Well, then maybe I"ll when this little game of ours." as she give him a quick wink. Beside could it be so bad loosing to a fiery redhead one that likes to play so close to the fire sometimes.

"I find that blaster can be useful to a point, then again in battle a good old sniper rifle can be very deadly." as she let that seek in to him. After a desired time it look like she didn't know anything about weapons which was far from the truth. As she let out a long deep breath. Taking what looked to be some kind of dirt stain rag, as she let herself make a dot or two around the room.

As she knew what she was up to would be poor sportsmanship but had he hadn't said no force couldn't be used. "So what do you like to do for fun when your not, trying to hit on every woman that came along to a sad place like this."

[member="Seanna Vel"]

Gray watched her move to get the knives. He would be lying if he said he wasn't watching her behind a bit as she did. He had to agree with her on the whole sniper thing. He didn't feel like getting into it though because he tended to enjoy the conversation too much. He said after she began to make dots around the room, " I will have you know I don't hit on every girl I see. I only flirt with the interesting ones. And you are very interesting Scarlet."

Gray smiled to her and winked after he finished talking. He could tell there was more to this woman than she let on, and she didn't exactly hide it. He wasn't entirely sure what her game was right now, maybe she was just bored, but he was enjoying playing it for now. He just hoped it didn't end up biting him in the butt later. He said after a moment, " Well I dance some, now. I like to read a bit. I spend most of my time tracking down new jobs though. It's not easy being a freelance merc. People tend to hire from merc companies. What about you?"

Putting her hand to her chin as she tap on the side of her cheek some. "I see now, what about, me." as she throw the blade again letting it stop its back and forth. "Oh you know nothing special really, " as she knew that she was lying about that one.

"No really I'm into making business grow noting special about it just liquor company, oh yea I like to play with knives as well." the rest would stay hidden for now.

After which time spoke again, "so", as she looked at him more carefully. "freelancer are you." as she let herself see him throw again. Only to see how to joy this.

Gray got the knife and played around with it again as he listened to her. He waited for her to stop speaking and then threw his knife. It landed dead center into one of the spots on the wall she had made earlier. He said it bounced around, " Yeah, freelance. I'm not under any company currently. Never did have ties to any group, so I just kind of stayed that way. It has it's own advantage even if work can be a little rough to find."

Gray crossed his arms and smiled at her. He said, " So just a business woman who likes to throw knives? Sounds like my kind of business woman."
