The third lightsaber to be constructed by Kian Karr, this lightsaber represents the twilight of his life and is meant to replace the lightsaber he has used since a padawan. The Solari crystal he uses emits a slightly thicker blade than your typical crystal and is green in color. This characteristic improves the ability to block blaster fire and is ideal for Kian's use of Shien, his mastered lightsaber form. In addition, Kian's experiences in combat on watery worlds, such as the invasion of Manaan, caused him to implement a bifurcating cyclical-ignition pulse in his lightsaber. While not an aquatic species and not planning to engage in combat underwater, Kian is aware of the risks associated with having a malfunctioning weapon while in combat and not even a Jedi can prepare for everything.
