• Description: Crafted of esoteric origins, the Khot Vong were a project splicing together the genetic code of Umbarans with the world seed of the Yuuzhon Vong as well as Sith Alchemical rituals through a series of genetic experiments and Sith alchemical rituals through the span of several decades by the Sith Lord known as Darth Setheus. The result is a being which both largely resembles Umbarans while baring several traits from Yuuzhon Vong as well as Sith enhancements that typically result in a high and often fatal rate of mutation among the Khot Vong, making 1 in 6 Khot Vong sport a fundamentally different genetic code from the others.

  • Khot Vong are capable of salvaging and creating technological inventions on their own accord but it typically derives from the foraging and salvaging of pre-existing materials.

  • Worship of the Yuuzhon Vong, their return and the 'remaking of the Galaxy' by the 'Gods of the Void', bringing about Apocalypse and undoing the order of the Galaxy.
• General behavior: The Khot Vong are a deeply abrasive species, nigh hostile to those outside of the Children of the Void or their own species. However together they work in a high synchronized cohesive manner- bolstered by their ability to telepathically communicate with one another. Resilience, martial ability, and zealotry are the highest virtues of any Khot Vong and it typically translates in an aimless and often suicidal adherence to these tenets, being both near-ideal stock as 'chaff' foot soldiers and manual labor.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Khot Vong were engineered and created through a series of genetic experimentations, alterations and splicing combined with Sith Alchemy. The Khot Vong eventually reached their ideal form by which they could feasibly reproduce, gain and maintain an advanced cognitive function. The original template of the Khot Vong was the Umbaran, the native species of both of the project's progenitor, Darth Setheus and Darth Kalyptos. Hoping to maintain the advanced cognitive functions, ultraviolet and low light vision as well as the species signature 'gaze', they began to mentally manipulate thralls and willing cultists from Umbara to take part in the first genetic experiments of the species. The mortality rate was near 100% in the first few years of experimentation with Sithspawn mutations altering the subject's DNA to the point of uncontrollable cell growth and reproduction, leading to many of the desired results but at the cost of a deteriorating immune system and a high presence of cancerous growths.

It was not until Setheus and Kalyptos began their work at Zenama Sekot that the project was brought into true fruition. Utilizing 'Vong-Shaping' from Yuuzhon'tar's world seed embedded into the planet in tandem with Sith alchemy- they were able to more precision craft the traits and abilities needed in the Khot Vong in order to create a reproducing species purpose fit for the needs of the Sith Lords to have a willing army of Cultists and Fanatics to utilize as their chaff force of dregs in order to accomplish their ambitions of ripping apart the Galactic Order.

The result in totality was the Umbaran template modified with Sith alchemy to exhibit telepathic exoskeleton and limb growth as well as the enhanced strength, acceptability to organ-grafting, and appearance traits of the Yuuzhan Vong compiled with a faint yet still present force-resistance. However, the combination of the two modification methods also led to a generally shortened life-expectancy.
