SPECIAL FEATURES

Naturally Occurring metal on Khemost that has immense resistance to the Force, Lightsabers, and a wide variety of other Conventional Damages

When sharpened into blades, it's edge is so fine it can cut like a Vibrosword, enabling it to shear through most Conventional materials as well as a few Lightsaber resistant ones

STRENGTHS

Anti Force: The metal emits a natural field that spreads to any being in physical contact with it, enabling it and them to resist Force Attacks and Force based energy to a very high degree. It's also excellent at resisting Vibroweapons and a variety of other Conventional damages, making it an excellent all rounder for either armor of weapons, and makes it immensely difficult for Adepts who rely on Telekinesis to strip the user of their weapon or armor

Cutter: When forged into bladed weapons it seems to become eternally sharp, so sharp it acts like a Vibrosword, capable of cutting through both conventional materials and even a few Lightsaber resistant ones

Alloy: Can alloy with Durasteel, Titanium, Phrik, Impervium, Alusteel, Copper, and convert different effects and benefits.

WEAKNESSES

Heavy: With weapons or armor made of pure Khemostium, it's quite heavy, which can lead to the user tiring out if they don't have strength or stamina

Hard to locate: Khemostium Ore is located in very dense deposits of volcanic rock that have been subjected to some unknown radiation exposure, often near deposits of Cinnabar, and only on icy planets. Because the radioactive process that results in the creation of the ore is still unknown (and often extremely difficult to detect with scanners) finding actual deposits is a time intensive, costly task: one often must scan for cinnabar deposits deep in the earth first than systematically search the area around it. While it in theory could form on any icy planet, Khemost is the only planet where deposits are detected in very heavy amounts...other planets may barely have enough ore to make a sword with

Difficult to forge: Khemostium is very dense, and has an extreme forging temperature of 3500 degrees Celsius, and it's strange chemical properties require it be cooled in liquid nitrogen or carbonite (Liquid Nitrogen is preferred, as Carbonite seems to have a risk of causing cracks to develop if not pulled out of it at just the right moment

Alloy weakness: If alloyed, it's Force Resistance rating and potentially a few others may drop to high

Acid: Acid eats through it in seconds

Tensor: Tensor beams ravage it's Molecular structure

Ion: Exposure to Ion drops it's Force Resistance rating by two for seven minutes

Cortosis: Pure Cortosis can break it down and cause it to start getting heavy cracks and scratches just by hitting it. It also won't alloy with Cortosis

Reduction: It's naturally Force Resistant properties cause any Force User that wields it to have to concentrate twice as hard to use the Force, and the strength of all their direct Force attacks is reduced somewhat

Alchemy: It is one of the few metals that cannot be Alchemized

Paddle Beams: Interactions with the metal cause the effects of paddle beams to double in strength

DESCRIPTION

Khemostium is a metal found in very large deposits only on Khemost. An immensely Force resistant metal distinguished by its midnight black color, Khemostium only occurs very rarely else where, and only on icy worlds, and almost never in high enough amounts to justify opening a mine. Discovered only relatively recently nearly 800 years before the present date by the last ruler of Khemost, Darth Mammon, she coveted the lustrous black metal and made it a crime to take even small amounts off world without her express, written permission. Upon discovery of its properties, Xiphos immediately declared it civil defense and military resource only, with blacksmiths and technicians of House Io requiring direct permission to forge the metal and any low tier citizen who wishes to purchase it in its pure form requiring a legal permit to do so, with a limit of two items, one of armor and one weapon, with the amount of items composed of pure Khemostium increasing as one advances in rank. Khemostium Alloy materials however, don't require a permit, and House Citizens at the lowest tier can own up to three pieces (Heavily Meritorious Service only), which increase also as they advance in rank. Pure Khemostium items are seen as status symbols, and are often awarded to outstanding citizens who have performed great acts or sacrificed limbs to preserve the House. Citizens who have defeated up to 14 Jedi or Sith in pitched blade combat are awarded a full suit of armor, made of Khemostium Alloy, or pure Khemostium if a single Master was slain in place of the normal requirement of 14 Force Adepts. The latter is presented by Darth Xiphos herself. This is a one time only thing, understandably.

Ah, well. No problem Set to Semi Unique, and will keep at Semi Unique for future subs with alloy versions.

Blinks

If I remove the Force resistant nature via alloying, could I then get it to at least minor for alloy subs, Listib Hibin Listib Hibin ? Just checking.
