CONTENTS
The spell book is almost as old as the family itself and stores all the secrets gathered over the years.
  • Spells
Odojinya - Unbreakable dark side energy wraps around a target and saps their strength while also cutting off their connection from the force.

Force Blast - Concentrated blasts of pure dark side energy able to easily destroy objects and devastate or kill opponents.

Dark side tendrils - Manifestations of force energy move like dark tendrils ensaring and annihilating opponents.

Spell of concealment - Very similar to Force Cloak this spell can hide the caster and multipule others presence.
  • Rituals:
Dwomutsiqsa - Summons a manifestation of the dark side know as a Smoke Demon

Aspect of the chosen - Much like its cousin, Enhance Force Sensitivity, it bestows a greater connection to the force. This ritual was gifted to the clan by the Fanged god himself and is used to place his own power into a vessel of his choice. If used on the wrong person leads to instant death and as such has never been performed before. They say the recipient of this power will receive many different aspects of the Son at great personal costs.
  • Crafts
Talisman of Resurrection - A talisman capable of anchoring ones soul into their body, even after death. The spirit will inhabit the body in whatever state its currently in so the talisman is advised to be used quickly after death.

Talisman of Counterspell - This talisman is used to counter other spells targeted at the wearer and send them back to the caster.

Talisman of Finding - Embedded with a targets blood this talisman will always direct the wearer toward that person.

Strengths:
  • The book contains an incredible amount of knowledge from spells and rituals to crafting enchanted talismans.
  • The sight of the book is a moral boost to any of the Khat dynasty and Son's Vigil

Weaknesses:
  • The book is fairly heavy and needs both hands to be held open by regular humanoids.
  • The pages of the book are enchanted and require force energy to be poured into the page to reveal the secrets. And incredibly taxing task.
  • Because of the dark power within the book it eminates a heavy aura of the dark side.
  • All rituals and enchantments require the book to be present to lend its power and can not be done without it.

DESCRIPTION
The spellbook is said to be made by the great tribe leader and family head, Mad Chief Tonkira. The Mad Chief was plagued by visions of the Dark One and was urged to taint an exisiting Dathmirian spellbook. The afront to what was upheld as a sacred object made her a pariah in the eyes of the other tribes but a maverick among her own. They saw her as a vessel of god writing holy scripture in the book and many say this was the start of the tribe's feverous god worshipping.

Over time many different leaders of the tribe added onto the book to make it what it is now. Not only the spells and rituals but stories of the harrowing times they all faced and how they overcame it all. To any of the Khat dynasty, the book is more than a tool but a record of their ancestors and their great deeds. That makes it extremely special to them and they would kill to preserve it.

That's why it was such a blow to have it stolen shortly before their departure to Rattaki. The tribe faced the darkest years in their history due to an exile of their own making. She was once a beautiful witch deformed by her own greed and willingness toward the dark side. For generations she held on to the book trying to decipher the enchanted and coded pages but with almost no progress.

Finally Seruka Khat, leader of her family, alongside the one she believes to be a reincarnation of the Fanged God sought out the old witch to take it back.
