- Heavy, the user has some weight to them wearing this armor. Not an extreme encumbrance but noticeable.
- Regular weapons such as Blasters and Sonic weapons will do effective damage to the armor.
- As this armor is airtight it takes some time to get on and off, it is not quick to remove or easy to change.

Through his own infiltration of former Hutt cartel associates inside Fire For Effect, and One Sith connections alerting him, Darth Centax heard of the A1-Ionsider, the model this armor was originally based on. Although the A1 model had been designed for droids, given the crisis on Atrisia and recent widespread infection of the planet, Apex Industrial had been working on a decontamination suit capable of not only protection against force users for Balen Black's bodyguards but also to shield any mortal wearer from potential contamination due to hazardous toxins.
Keeping the bias firmly on protecting the wearer from force users, the armor is weaker to blaster and sonic based weapons, while the TM1 alloy has an impressive mix of tensile and compressive strength to kinetic forces or impact damage. The obsidian adds a layer of style to the armor but also serves as a second surface skin at key points, being easier to shape and stylize than the TM1 composite. All this specialization against force users however does make it more vulnerable to just a good blaster or sonic weapon.
The main filtration system in this unit as a primary function attempts to filter out any compound that is not oxygen. The second backup feature of this unit's breather, is by a thin layer of antibacterial mesh mixed with biofiber over the rebreather. The surface mimics living human skin on the outside with the biofiber, while holding as a conveniently inert layer, which if activated by a pathogen or foreign substance is expelled from the armor directly. In the case of this happening, the suit shuts down the rebreather and runs on emergency oxygen supplies which last up to 24 hours. This double redundancy two filter chamber approach, and solid airtight armor, effectively quarantine the user in case of a virus outbreak or virulent plague. To assist with survival in such conditions, the suit's water supplies can last up to 1 week in the field effectively, and half that time if quarantined.

As was agreed on the break-in was staged. Unexpectedly one operative was killed before they could evacuate the site, but the transfer of credits to Fire For Effect and by proxy Apex Holdings is complete. Whoever our contact in Apex Holdings the parent company is they remain loyal to the long conflict and the greater cause.
