I would point out that the Mandalorians have their own Force Using Masters... so not all go to the Jedi for training :p And, most if not all know better than to use such skills in an honor duel. For those of us who are Mandalorians and have an ability with the Force, it is NOT a crutch, it is a tool like any other. I realize this may be your IC opinions, I'm just trying to point a few things out.

As to the issue of no Mand'alor.. I would highly encourage you to ask around. It is clearly very different from where you come from, [member="Atin Vendet"]. The decision to currently have no Mand'alor was made by the Mandalorian Faction staff as a result of our last one going missing, both OOC and IC. As of right now, the council of Alor'e has the right and IC authority to rally the clans should such be needed. I would highly encourage you to read the informational threads in the Mandalorian forums if you have not. You can find them here:

And please, if you would like to write Death Watch characters for the Mandalorian story arc, please message me.

Poison is the tool of a coward. The force is the tool of the traitor.

The mandalorian faction staff may rally and chose an ooc mand'alor, but its my duty to remain in character. It may not be possible, but it is tradition to rally clans in opposition. In kyrtsad, its a challenge to the death, but that'd require him to view him with any sort of legitimacy. It would be just as easy to claim the position of overlord. There are many ways around the issue. I created a death watch faction. The character I've made is not cannon fodder, but legitimately following the philosophy.

Mandalorians have always felt the use of the force as taboo. Those carrying lightsabers and such that were not taken as trophies are violating cin vhetin. Even if the mandalorian faction proclaims a mandalore, the kyrtsad don't necessarily recognize him, if he doesn't hold those extremely traditionalist values. I realise that you are remaining true to your character and that is fine.

I'm just pointing out that things are a little different here. As to us oocly choosing a mand'alor? Don't know where you got that from. We are trying to let the story evolve. So far, no one has been able to claim it. Our last mand'alor disappeared for months with no word, and expected to keep the title. Not going to let that happen again. Our intention is to have an npc until or unless someone can rise to the occasion. As of right now, however, we have no mand'alor. As such the council of alore has the authority icly to, rally the clans should the need arise.

I realize that in cannon there is a massive hatred of force users. But this.... is not canon. As such, things are different. We don't hold strictly to canon here.

*shrug* If we're talking Traviss, most of our Force-sensitive Mandos stick pretty close to her 'A Mando sees the Force as a can opener' rule, and fight their duels in ysalamir fields. That, and this is eight, nine centuries later, after some huge galaxy-wide events. More than enough room for everyone. Welcome aboard.

Gotcha. Well, canon has like eight versions of what Real Mandoness is like, and Chaos has room for all of them. I'd quite enjoy seeing multiple Mando factions running around.

Right. Figured people needed a legit evil, thinking deathwatch. Plus super traditionalists are fun to play.
As for earlier bit on six actions though, that's in every version, regarding kids.
