STRENGTHS

Blow ‘em away: The frankly ridiculous close range power of this weapon can be enough to knock over a hovercar or light vehicle, and if at a close enough range can easily cause concussions from a single shot.
Not Every Gun Has a Trigger: The repulsor is fired on command of the user’s HUD or similar technology, somewhat avoiding trappings of a standard gun.
Say Hello to my Little Friend!: The small size makes the repulsors easily concealable, and most opponents don’t expect a powerful weapon to be hidden on the palm of the user.
Reinforced: A phrik outer shell protects the weapon, and supports and stabilizers help reduce the recoil.
Storage: The weapon can be put in the form of a thick metal wristband, then pulled outwards by the user to attach properly to the hand.
Easy Reload: The power cell is popped out as soon as its energy has been used up, making reloading the weapon faster.

WEAKNESSES

Down the Barrel: The actual repulsor emitter, while reinforced, can be damaged. Should this occur, the weapon would likely be rendered useless.
One Trick: The weapon isn’t very versatile and is really only able to knock back/concuss opponents.
Low Range: The weapon can’t hit enemies that are at even average range.
Charge: The weapon creates a small whirring sound before it fires, and it takes a moment to actually charge up and fire after it’s been ordered to do so by the user. This can give away the user’s position, and the delay can be long enough for an experienced fighter to react.
HUD required: There is no manual firing function on the weapon. The user must have a HUD or similar technology connected to the repulsors to fire it.
Hands Up: The fact that the repulsors are only attached to the palms of the user makes them less versatile in where they can fire.
Stabilizers: The recoil on this tiny weapon means it requires additional stabilizers to keep it from basically breaking the user’s bones. Should the stabilizers be damaged or destroyed, well… bye bye wrist.
Recoil: Even with the stabilizers, the recoil can be enough to push a user who isn’t in a stable stance off their feet. While this knockback effect could be used to the user’s advantage, more often than not it’s unpredictable and dangerous.

DESCRIPTION

SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND! (I just wanted to say that. Yeah. Thanks. Bye.)

Kelsie modified an old pair she'd brought from her time and updated them to the modern era. A simple, functional weapon.
