The armor was forged by Kelmont's mother, Velka, as a gift when he came of age. Over the last decade, Kelmont has modified the armor to fit his taste. He made no modifications to the defensive properties of the armor, content with the existing defense offered by the Beskar. The helmet was not originally designed as part of the suit, instead belonging to his father. Kelmont took the helmet for his own when his father died, painting it to match the rest of his armor. The armor has served him faithfully over the ten years he's had it, and it is now the lone reminder of home he has.
The Integrated Jump Jets are located on the backs of his calves, and twin emitters on his shoulders. These jump jets are intended to boost mobility, moreso than allow the user to fly.
