Keetael Residuum
What was?
Once upon an era, the Keetael was a group of Draethos hunters that utilized the Force in a similar fashion to the Jedi Order. Despite the similarity that both teach young to Master the Force, that is where the majority of comparison ends. One taught, and teaches, balance of the Lightside and its abilities, the other trained the Sensitives be dangerous hunters. Their senses are honed, they learn to see in the dark, track movements, use Force Tracking as a whole, combat, and much more.
What Happened?
However there came a time, as always is, where in the Keetael became a remnant of its past glory. Not much is known of the group, as it has seemingly fallen too the plagues haunting the Chaos Universe so regularly. Gulag, Netherworld, so much effected that the question is left unanswered: What happened to the people?
What Will Be?
At present, a lone survivor of the teachings found an apprentice to teach, and since has managed to bring the lessons back to the masses. Now there are several Sects, or clans, of Keetael trained and training Preceptors, Prodigies, and Rookies (the equivalent to Master, Knight, and Apprentice ranks).
Each is to have a Head, though this is not a truism to lordship, rather a meaning similar to Father of the Sect. He is known to be the wisest, or chosen to represent the group in the light of publicity. Every member of this group will be heralded as less, until they have accomplished Chagura, or acts earning respect amongst their people. This could mean Hunting a person, or besting a deadly adversary. Upon a high enough status, the Respected can become a member of the Assembly.
The Assembly is a mass of the Respected, allowing a form of less than centralized government. They are basically the true government for the Residuum. Anyone, and everyone, that earns enough Respect may host a seat in the Assembly, and those that do are tended toward the most well known faces.
What Does it all Mean?
From an Out of Character stand point, it means that those that complete missions wrought by the Assembly, can easily become a major voice for the Faction. They will be the ones helping to spread the teachings if you will, the ones in charge of the armies and individuals alike.
Basically, come here if you want to be the equivalent of a Force Bounty Hunter, be taught, run missions, and become an amazing hunter and soldier.
