DESCRIPTION
The Keda Crystal, is cut and faceted glass from the surface of the long destroyed planet Keda, home planet of the Ikate Keda. The Ikate Keda, due to their tense relationship with the Force, viewed it more as a curse than a blessing. A curse they had to learn how to use and control or risk insanity and death at a very young age, but one they hated none-the-less. When the planet was turned to Glass, this hatred of the Forced materialized from the ash and soot of the species trapped in the glassy surface of the planet.
In the inevitable destruction on their species, they created an object that had the one thing they had always wanted. To be unseen, and unbothered by the force. The planet, having gone long forgotten, had very few visitors, aside from Ahron Rol, who felt her once home lack this strong bond it once had with the force. She could not even see it with anything but her own two eyes. Stepping foot on the surface of the planet, she was the first of her species to know something truly special.
Silence.
She collected this glass, not willing to subject herself to living on the glassy, barren tundra of her home planet for the silence it provided her, and eventually confirmed the effect would travel with the glass. Now, she is never without some of it on her at all time, primarily, as focusing crystals in her lightsabers.
