DESCRIPTION

Ke'Cholo usually wore another garment that provided him with heavy resistance to lightsabers. However, wanting something more personal, Ke'Cholo set the task of creating a new armor to his chief engineer, Zobacca. The Wookie quickly produced a simple cortosis armorweave, that had a hearty resistant to energy weapons. The mesh even deactivated some of the lightsabers the pair tested on it, and showed extreme resiliency to blaster fire.

So, ordinary cloth won't give you much resistance to blasters. Change that to cortosis infused armorweave or something and I think, in theory, this should work.

So cortosis itself isn't exactly the sturdiest stuff in the world, especially not in its pure, lightsaber deactivating form. That's why I suggested going with armorweave infused with cortosis. You'll need to add the part about having the chance to deactivate a lightsaber when struck to strengths, as well as change that sentence so it makes it clear that deactivation isn't a certainty.
