Kearo, partly thanks to the gladiator pits, developed into a very determined individual. Again, thanks to the multiple life-and-death situations he has been in all his gladiator fights, he developed into a very committed and determined individual. Also, because of the gladiator pits, he became a courageous man. The sense of life and death weakened because most of the fighters and competitors had died either at his hands or in another match. Yet, for all the darkness he was surrounded by, he didn't let it take his heart, and his heart developed into a virtuous one. The sense of death's reach and touch may have weakened him. However, he still believed in the goodness of the galaxy. Plus, in his mind, the gladiator pits wouldn't win by going to the darkness in his heart. Still, though he was a determined individual, his determination can, at many more times than he'll likely admit, be stubbornness in disguise. His sense of no surrender would manifest as stubbornness. Especially if he set his mind to anything.
Along with his stubbornness, Kearo can be highly reckless. Having for most of his life fought in gladiator fights, he became highly aggressive. Especially as his life could've been snuffed out due to some of the fights he was in.
APPEARANCE:
Kearo is like any other Echani; he has his species' staple white hair and silver eyes. Standing at 6'4", he has a muscular build, though again, due to the gladiator pits. His body is covered in scars from the life he once lived. Due to joining the Jedi, he wears traditional Jedi robes.
BIOGRAPHY:
Kearo was born on a planet in the Outer Rim, and though he doesn't remember where it was, he has lived as a slave for most of his life. He became a slave before he could remember; he only knows that his parents sold him away to pay off their debts. So his life as a slave began, and like any other slave, it was brutal, yet in this life of servitude, he would meet others telling him about a sect of warriors. These warriors were known as guardians of peace and justice. Righteous warriors that would vanquish the evils of the galaxy. Like so many others, he became enthralled with these warriors, these Jedi, and their quest for peace, justice, and the ending of the dark side. He held on to this image of the Jedi Order as he grew as a slave. In time he was given a new master, one that had him fight as a gladiator. For a bit, it was a decent life. Since he was an Echnai, he usually held a psychological edge over his opponents. As they usually thought, he was trained in the Echani martial arts. So he climbed the ranks and earned his Master a lot of money. However, one day his world was changed, and his childhood heroes burst into his Master's complex. The Jedi warriors, the heroes that he was told about as a child, finally came and set him free along with his fellow slaves. Not only was he freed, but he, on that day, found out that he was a Force Sensitive, and they would take him away to receive proper training. So thus, his story now picks up after his formal induction as a Padawan waiting for his new trainer.
