Description:
Having finally moved into the field of droid production, Krayt Industries began working on first generation battle droid for use by One Sith forces, but also to be sold on the open-market if purchaser passed a background check. Going through several designs, the KDI-01x Legion Droid was eventually decided to be the first droid of the assembly lines on Galantos.

Based on the ancient Krath War Droid in appearance, the Legion droid is of a humanoid shape with a deep blue skin of durasteel, caused by the forging of the vast amounts of chromite on Galantos. The droids are equipped with a vibroblade within the left arm and a blaster cannon within the right, to both be effective in short and long range battles. Extra servos were added into the joints of the Legion to allow it greater movement and speed, but all of this does come with a few problems.

As the first droid produced by Krayt Industries, the Legion is not independent of a command computer, requiring it to function. The software of the droid itself is not particularly complex, focusing almost exclusively on combat protocols and being easily hack-able. The armor system is also on the lighter side, meaning the Legion Droid can be easily damaged, but this defect was allowed for the improved mobility.
