A family of inventors, Kayleigh is no different. Designing several technologically advanced spacecraft, weapons, and armorsets earned her a name along side her father.
+ Skilled Pilot
Enlisting in the Republic navy at age 20, Kayleigh was adept at piloting a varying number of spacecraft, varying from starfighters to cruisers. Her goal aims to achieve admiral status and command a Republic flagship.
+ Gunslinger
Piloting air/spacecraft are just one of Kayleigh's combat expertise skills. An expert with many styles of weapons including laser, pulse, and fusion, she is also trained in vibrosword defensive fencing.
- Perfectionist
Why do anything if you can't do it perfectly? Kayleigh will push herself past her physical limits even if it kills her, if it means doing it just right.
- Pessimist
Being a pessimist makes being a perfectionist that much more difficult. Expecting the worst, and always considering the possibility of failure means getting things just right is that much more difficult, and often seems impossible for her to achieve. Reaching one goal typically means evaluating herself, finding each flaw she endured while accomplishing said goal, often re-attempting the goal if it did not meet her expectations.
- Missing Lung
At the age of 16, Kayleigh was diagnosed with an aggressive type of lung cancer, eventually forcing the removal of her right lung to prevent the spread and saving her life. Because of this, her ability to hold her breath is nearly non-existant, her breath is more shallow than a typical human, and she is unable to run for long distances without wearing her bodysuit armor which assists with respiration.

When the Sith showed up, everything changed. War destroyed her home. She was unable to protect her family. She was called elsewhere and orders were orders. When she returned, everything was gone. The life she knew before was erased. Her new family were the brothers and sisters of the Republic navy that stood beside her now, and in the future. At the age of 15, she began developing a difficulty breathing, which at first was thought to be nothing more than common asthma. Unfortunately this went unresearched for a year until it was discovered that she had a type of lung cancer that had spread through the full extend of her right lung. Without an available donor and time running thin, they opted to remove the lung entirely, as living with a handicap was better than not living at all.
After joining the Republic navy, she socred a near perfect on the pilots test, being assigned to both a fighter squadron as well as an engineering officer position on the bridge of a Republic cruiser. Her dreams were slowly coming true. Having been serving beneath Admiral Stahlmann of the Grand Republic Navy for some time, she quickly rose through the ranks, eventually to be named the Supreme Commander of the Republic Navy, after her mentor's retirement. Taking up the mantle as head of the military forces, she found herself frequently at odds with the then Prime Minister Genevieve Lasedri. The two rarely saw eye to eye on the defense of the Republic, and typically shared opposite opinions on where the Republic fleet should maintain its' largest presence. Kayleigh was present for many incursions, including Prakith, Attahox, Denon, and Nubia, serving both in space and ground theaters. Some time in between the various war efforts she met a man, [member="Fixx Kearney"] and fell in love. Six years spent together, give or take, was for the most part well cherished, despite a plot that was buried deep within the Republic's own espionage branch to assassinate her, feeding false information and attempting to use Fixx and his team as the executioners. Despite her near-death experience, she still loved the man, though duty called them both once again, to opposite corners of the galaxy. It has been over a year since they last saw one another, and in that time Kayleigh had since retired her post as Supreme Commander, stepping down and leaving the Republic for a more peaceful, quiet life, away from the battlefront of the Sith. Still young, she wanted to explore, and see the galaxy, before it was too late.
